This place is truly unique and delicious! Last time we had a platter and this time we did the trio and wow and oh my! Great flavor, true fire roasted and well seasoned everything! Pulled pork, ribs, chicken, even the broccoli is a hit! The lemon pepper potatoes are phenomenal! We also had poblano mac n cheese and just yum on everything! New favorites at Poio! Kudos to the boys at Poio!

Traveling through the city and stopped by for food because of the review. The cashier was super nice and talked us through what was good. The sauce were pretty good too. I saw mixed reviews about their chicken, so we got pork carnitas and it was really good! I love the idea of the kimchi, fried rice, and pork carnitas. If I ever travel by again, I'd surely stop by.

I've been here three times in a little over a week.I finally stopped for pictures, instead of just devouring everything!I've tried three of the protien options. Ribs, chicken, and carnitas. All were very good, but the chicken thighs are my choice. Pictured is the carnitas and gansito dessert.Recommend ordering extra pickled vegetables and salsa verde. They have the bright, fresh taste that pairs perfectly with the smokey meat.Part Mexican, part Filipino, 100% amazing food and service.

We had the pleasure to pop up at SabaDos! The day was filled with so many good vibes, good food, talented vendors combined with the best music from local producers. POI-Ō is the place to be every second Saturday of the month! It felt like home and we can’t wait to be back.

I ordered a 3 Bone Box. Delicious! Handmade pickle garnish, thick, flavorful tortilla & juicy meat. I ordered black beans as a side, but so many vegetable sides are available. Jackfruit options for vegetarians. I've been 3 times and plan to come back for more.

Oh my goodness! Our first time here. We’re vegan. Your jackfruit carnitas are incredible! The chili lime broccoli is fantastic! The habanero salsa is so perfect.15 year old says these are the best nachos ever!

Chicken was good, well marinated and tender. A few of the sides that I got weren't bad. Charred broccoli and carrots were good, though the carrots looked like they've been in and out of the refrigerator a few times now. They were out of elotes by the time I arrived at noon, so couldn't try those. The lemon pepper potatoes I ordered weren't included in my order. And the poblano mac and cheese was just some penne pasta with congealed cheese on it, and had zero flavor to it outside of plain noodles.Despite them being practically dead at noon, I waited for 15 minutes to get my order. Only one guy covering the front counter and drive thru for most of the visit, which consisted of me ordering inside, and one person in the drive thru. Eventually a few other people came out from the back to help plate things up, no hustle to get things out though. Unlike another local chicken place, there's nothing seemingly being cooked fresh or cooked to order, so the long wait was a mystery. When you open up a competing grilled chicken establishment within a mile of an already well established restaurant doing the same thing, and your big draw is a variety of good side dishes, I suggest you focus on making the sides good, AND available to your customers when they're there. Service helps too, like not waiting 15 minutes for food that simply has to be portioned out into a container.I wouldn't recommend this place, only been there once and it left such a poor first impression that they'd have to offer me a free meal to try it again.

Wood fired chicken and ribs in a traditional Mexican style that is damn good. Like the best grilled food you could buy from a restaurant. So good, we ate it all before pictures were taken. You get a good amount for the price, two family meals was more than enough for 7 adults. The Elote and black beans were really good. Everyone enjoyed and said they are excited to try it again. Make the trip to KCK, its worth it.

The food is so good here. Definitely worth the trip.

Would not recommend not only are they overpriced but the food isn't good, I don't mind paying a little extra for decent food but that was not the case here. The chicken was super dry, the rice was not mixed all the way, overcooked, and undercooked, plus burnt all at the same time(really don't know how they managed to do that). The only thing that was decent was the corn which had too much sauce for anyone but me. All in all it was a horrible experience and I would not go back there or recommend anybody to try it.
