We just came from the Church Rd location. There were two little boys with their electronics stretched out at two tables. We were there about 40 minutes and no one checked on them. The manager came by and acted like she didn't know who they were. When we got ready to leave, the boys ran into the back of the kitchen. When we went to the car, the back door of the restaurant was open and the boys were sitting in 100 degrees on the sidewalk. The floors had trash everywhere.
As a former Panera employee, I'd advise against giving them your business the way things are. Panera has been on a downward spiral for years, and every time I find myself in there (which is once or twice a year) I am left in awe of how badly they treat their customers. You get fast-food service, fast-food food prep quality (sandwiches quickly slopped together) and bougie prices. My recent visit at this location was terrible. A guest and I both ordered a Frontega Chicken sandwich and some soups. The French Onion soup was more fat than liquid, so a bowl of onion gravy. There was no fresh basil on the sandwiches, no mention of it by the staff. May as well have been out of a sauce and not said anything because ingredients like basil have a strong flavor that really adds something to the sandwich, and are part of what make these sandwiches different than places like Subway (and partially accounts for the bougie pricing). Without these sort of "inspired" ingredients it's pretty much just an overpriced yet typical chicken and cheese sandwich. When employees were asked about it they said they were just out of basil, no replacement or compensation offered, though I'm sure it factors into the price. Prices go up while the amount of meat on your sandwich goes down. Aside from this, the guy yelling orders sounded like he was yelling at misbehaving kids, really disconcerting. Long gone are the days of the vibrating buzzers, or god forbid, an intercom system or some table number cards so you can dine in relative peace. Overheard an employee through the paper-thin kitchen wall using profanity and complaining about problem customers. Get these people a break room. An employee (possibly the same one) loudly reminded another employee to ask every customer if they want to round up their order amount to donate to some cancer fund. Could you make customers feel like any more of a commodity and an inconvenience here? I won't be going back to find out. The only improvement I've seen here in several years is that the new renovated locations don't look like you're dining in a 90s health food store, and there are now self-ordering kiosks so you can jump those indecisive customers ahead of you in line. Everything else was a big step down. This place is just a money drain for those undiscerning enough to eat there. Their bakery products have always been pretty good quality, but their dining menu and service have been a disgrace for years now.
We ordered a hot sandwich & two smoothies. Received my sandwich & had to wait 10 minutes for our smoothies.Typically the smoothies are done before the sandwiches. The smoothies were watery & awful! This is the worst location that I have been to. I will not return to this location!
Litteralyyyyy the best place to eat. I'll never go here and be dissapointed. Always bussin bussin. They were maybe a couple minutes late with our food and gave us free cookies... I could kiss all the employees for it, not in a weird way just in a appreciated way. Everyone deserves a raise...Xoxo- gossip girl food critic
A great Panera. I love getting the Pic 2. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff friendly. The dining room was very cold. I told the staff on my way out and they appreciated knowing this and would make adjustments.
The manager Megan and the cashier Misty have terrible customer service. Megan wasn’t that bad but Misty was horrible. Her attitude and then telling me to leave the store when I asked for a manager is ridiculous. Simply asked a question regarding a reward and got very unpleasant feedback and attitude when trying to make a simple request. Had to drive 15 minutes to a different Panera where they were happy to help me and gave me no issues.
Love their awesome team at the Liberty location! I eat there a few days a week just because of how great they are!
Sunday and an epic management fail. The dining room was closed due to "Lack of staff." The employee there said it was prom weekend and all the kids called off work. Management should have known it was prom weekend and scheduled accordingly. Corporate should fire the management team at this store for lack of schedule planning. Sunday mornings are big days for the restaurant industry and this place is virtually 95% closed. I won't be wasting my time coming here anymore.
This Panera is awful. The pictured sandwich is the chipotle chicken and egg sandwich. About a tablespoon of chicken and I asked a staff and manager about it and they both confirmed the recipe calls for a tablespoon…that’s absolutely ridiculous and I doubt it is the truth. Given a cold cinnamon bun after having to ask for it twice, had to ask at two places for silverware, and then again for milk. Spend your time and money elsewhere!
Went to this Panera location tonight. Guy behind the counter took 2 orders and left my wife and I standing there without a word. Waited 5 minutes and walked out. In my opinion that was 5 minutes to long. Not going back. They were not busy. I can certainly understand why. Don’t waste your time.
