Great food. Very difficult to add your meal to PF Chang’s Rewards program. The directions instruct you to “Simply enter the 23 digit code at the bottom of your receipt. Receipt Code*”. After 2 recent meals at the KC PF Chang’s we found no 23 digit code on the receipt and had to ask wait staff to assist with getting the proper credit. The wait staff and the customers do not appreciate a difficult rewards program. Please improve. On a positive note, the food is always delicious.
Such a pretty location and some very good menu items! Also some very good employees. I ordered a rising dragon and a dynamite roll. After about 45 minutes I still did not have my dynamite roll apparently they took it to another table? So I waited another 20 to 30 minutes for mine. We were sitting at a table of 12 everybody else was about done with their food by the time I got mine. Made sense that they removed this from my ticket. I ordered another drink while I waited which they probably should’ve comped as well – I used to work at restaurants I know how you have to take care of a customer. My bill was still $32 with two drinks! The drink was the size of a small water glass! And mostly filled with ice. I used a QR code to pay so limited their work.My recommendation is that you really take care of the customer in a big way when you make a mistake like that especially in a large group. Also when we originally arrived the hostess did not look very happy to see us said she had to talk to her manager about whether they could seat us-because they were short staffed. The restaurant was about 10-15% full and did not get busier. So, while I understand times are odd for employees, there are still some things you can do to really take care of your customers and it starts with a smile and immediate welcome. Thus the 2 stars.
The food is great………………..
We were seated promptly and our waiter came by to get our drink order. We waited for a solid 10 minutes for our drinks ( 4 ice waters, 1 glass of wine, and a kids lemonade) to arrive and then another 15 minutes for the waiter to take our food order. Our food arrived 25 minutes after we ordered (appetizers first and then a few minutes later our food). I ordered the Mongolian beef and it was so over cooked and salty. The kids honey chicken was very vinegar-y. One person at our table got his meal at least 10 minutes after everyone else. The waiter never checked on us to see how the meal was or to get more drinks for us. He never apologized for the food taking so long. I can fully understand if they were understaffed and very busy. We got there at a time when they were not busy at all and had several wait staff going around. We are very disappointed with the service and the meal.
Food was made to perfection. You can tell the kitchen staff are passionate about what they do. The hosts and waitress were also very kind and welcoming.

I had carried out here once, and it was okay, but decided we should dine in to try again. I'd always heard good things. The food was okay, probably not worth the price, but it didn't taste bad. There just wasn't anything special about it, any more than a strip mall Chinese restaurant.
We haven’t been to PF Changs in YEARS! I was surprised to see at noon on a gorgeous spring day on the KC Plaza, we probably didn’t even need reservations. It wasn’t crowded at all. Menu was small but we all found something. My daughter and friend ordered orange chicken, her very favorite, but said it was spicy. My lunch was good. Didn’t have any local brews on tap. Service was good. Quiet birthday lunch.
I ordered the crab Wonton appetizers and Combo Stir Fry Vegetable entree and the appetizer bottoms were drenched in oil(& not the good stuff) while the shrimp in the entree were overcooked. This was my first and possibly my last visit after receiving a $58 bill for something I could have picked up at the freezer section of my local grocery store. I was not impressed.
It was busy so we ate at the bar. Our waitress didn't have a problem with wearing a mask while waiting on us. The food was good. The service from the bartender was great and we enjoyed it.
