Very good food and service. We liked the ambiance as well. We'll be back.
Really busy place. There we crowds of customers drinking. The place isn’t really defined what country of Central American it is because their staple plate is the delicious Pupusa of El Salvador ?? yet the beer sold is mainly Honduran ??. Although they also have Colombian ?? beer and Dominican Republic ?? beer. Any other Central American available besides Gallo. I would say it’s more Latin American than anything else. Well, here in Kansas City there aren’t that many options in these type of Latin American restaurants. With that being said and knowing cultural experiences among alcohol may not be such a family friendly environment unless you are used to it. The waitress were amicable and efficient. The Pupusas were and good size and very tasty unfortunately Pupusas made with rice masa are still hard to find in the KC area. I’m giving this review a strong 3 because I ordered a ceviche cocktail and it was truly disappointing especially since it was $19.99. Very dry no juice. The shrimp was chopped up and had pieces of shell and was very bland to be a ceviche. Moreover, I understand lime is at a record all time high, but when I ask for some slice’s of lime I was not informed a dollar charge incurred for a very small amount of rock hard limes. I know a dollar isn’t much, but if I was informed before hand I probably wouldn’t of bothered. The parking isn’t really easy to park in or back out of, so beware.
Awesome restaurant, good food. The place is usually busy on Sundays, about 15-20 min wait. Lots of parking available so thats a plus as well. Highly recommend.
¡Muy delicioso! We stopped here as part of the KCK Taco Trail and are very glad we did. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the place stays busy and we found out why! The meats had sooo much flavor. The guacamole was very fresh! The owner, Alphonso (?) and staff were very attentive and came by several times and gave my dining partner a couple of authentic beers to try. He liked! ? this is a good one to be our last stop of the day… I’m full!
Exquisito …… came to this place as one of our stops in our road trip looking for some Hispanic food and I must say my dish was excellent “baleada especial and pupusas mixtas” unreal !!!!!! By far the best I have had from all the places I have gone to…Muchas gracias por el buen servicio y la linda experiencia.

Of you're on the area try it out. It is probably one my favorites in the downtown KCK area.
Good food! My niece and I had their chicken and cheese pupusas with side of rice, and my 4yo had a cheeseburger and fries. Everyone enjoyed the food.
First of all its not Mexican food its central American Guatemalan big difference and second if your getting misstreated becuase your blck its because central Americans dont like mexicans or blcks because of the high murder rate if you want respect then it starts with your mother
