Nice place. Very clean and I LOVED the brisket, didn't use any sauce. The beans were good and meaty but a bit too tangy for my tastes.
Great spot for BBQ. The burnt ends were probably my favorite. The ribs had a real nice flavor and came off the bone with ease. The cheesy corn and baked beans were my favorite sides. The Mac and cheese was overpowered with pepper and the corn bread was average. Will be returning to try out more of the menu!
I’ve never been to a restaurant in my life where the food was just inedible, but this was. The texas toast was not toasted, just a sad piece of bread with cold mostly fatty meat. The cheesy corn was luke warm at best. The only edible part was the fries, and they were just okay. It was over $20, and if I would have known what it was like, I would have never paid for it.
Didn’t care for the beans, mac, or coleslaw. The ham was ok. Just not a fan after giving them a 2nd try from the first time when our food was cold. Won’t return.
Jousting Pigs has a great drive up system to get food. We enjoyed the pulled pork Mac n cheese and the burnt ends. The spicy cheese curds are definitely SPICY! Everything was good and way better than every chain restaurant near Legends! Not the best BBQ in Kansas City, but the best in the Legends/Piper area.
This place was amazing. I thought I was going to the old barbecue restaurant that was here but apparently they closed this location and now Jousting Pigs Opened in this location a few months ago. I got the 2 meat combo with burnt ends, macaroni and cheese and baked beans and my goodness it was awesome
We went here before the sporting KC game. It was great, right across the road, they let you park there during the game. The food was very quick, basically you only had to wait a few minutes in line, then a few minutes while they got your food. The food overall was fairly good, we like the ribs and pulled pork, the sausage was the softer kind which I don’t like as much. Fries were good, some of the other sides weren’t as good. Overall, we would likely go back
Awesome Bbq with ample portions and selections of combinations and plates. We loved the Mac n Cheese wih Bbq, tasty! Spicy sauce is superb!
Took my family of five here for dinner thinking we were going to get average bbq just based on the location and some reviews. We were really blown away by how good the meat was. The sides were terrific too. The sauce is really sweet (which isn't my favorite) but it was on point (reminded me of Slaps sauce). Really good KC BBQ joint
Very good barbecue. some of the best, tender brisket and burnt ends I’ve had and their sauce they serve is very good, taste similar to blues hogs. The creamy corn is very tasty I would highly recommend.
