The best food an nice proportions
Went here for the first time last week to watch KU play in the sweet 16 with some friends. The atmosphere was great, it was nice to see a bar full of KU fans, but no judgement on who you were cheering for.The bar had plenty of room for seating with TV's spread throughout. The bartenders gave great service and the food was great. I had their Philly and some of their Jalapeno Cheese Balls, would recommend both. Other people at my table had their burger, fish and chips, chicken nachos, and their club sandwich, all of which were said to be fantastic.While none of us ordered them, a regular recommended the wings. Apparently many of the regulars come just to get the wings.I unfortunately can't speak to the beer/alcohol or their prices, but considering the amount of people at the bar that consider themselves regulars, it must be reasonably priced!
Quiet casual neighborhood bar, a great place to meet up with friends, watch the games, etc. Friendly owners, bartenders, daily food specials. We love JW’s!
