Food just isn't the same as when I was a kid. The gizzards had a texture about them that made my stomach upset. And they were bland. Wasn't satisfied with the one in the 80s on State Ave KCKS.
The restaurant was having issues with order system but kudos to mgmt. They had a young man come out with a tablet who started taking orders from people in line. Restaurant caught up quickly.
If you’re in the mood for some good crispy chicken this is the spot. The Mac and cheese is always delicious. I highly recommend getting a wing pack with Mac and cheese on the side and a red drink for your beverage. Chicken always is packed full of flavor and has the perfect crisp to it. If you’re a fan of chicken livers or gizzards they are famous for those also. Well worth the stop of you have never had it
Gotta love go chicken go. My gizzards are always fresh and full of flavor and my rolls are always so soft and buttery. I don’t know what y’all doing in your kitchen but keep it up!
Stopped and got some livers and gizzards they were fantastic hot and fresh. Would highly recommend this place. Service is fast and courteous that's a win win.
I stopped there on my way home from Providence ER. I went through drive through because I wasn't able to go inside. They have a great deal on the Dinner Pack. I ordered all breasts and it came with Cole slaw, mashed potatoes, rolls and 3 chicken breasts for $12.
Excellent food. We are originally from Ks but moved to Florida. Just visited daughter and had to take home some go chicken go for husband. Always a favorite
Still amazing food after all these years, the gizzards are a must have with G sauce.
Awesomeness Great service and just how I remember them
This is my go-to spot for livers and gizzards! Anytime I get into KC, I try to make a stop there. The chicken meals are just as good also. Always fast, never a wait except for the long lines to get their mouth watering, fried, goodness!
