I want to love this place because it holds a dear place in heart from my youth. But here lately I been getting some bad quality product. My order of Gizzards had large pieces of dry and hard unchewable sections. And I even had pieces of fried straw, hay and small rocks mixed in my order in the past. When I called and complained, I was told sorry. The lady that answered was not the least bit concerned. Just be careful, I could've lost a tooth.

Excited about going! Weekday lunch, 1:30 pm. Quiet. Clean. Nice staff. Take-out only. Mounds of chicken stockpiled (oh-oh)... WAY overdone, dry inside-out. Slaw OK. This food should not have been allowed to leave their building. Won't be back.
I've been eating their gizzards for as long as I can remember (40+ years), the service is always pretty fast and the g-sauce is so good. I'll never eat a gizzard anywhere else but here. I highly recommend it. ?
I got the wing pack that ran me about $8 and some change. And I also got a chicken breast which was $2 and some change. I guess for the price of it, it wasn't too bad and it was pretty okay.
I am a lifelong advocate of go chicken go on seventh street and traveled from Dallas on business to experience the best of what Kansas City has to offer and tell others about. Unfortunately, Saturday night, April 2nd, 2022, was the worst, we were appauled by the poor quality of the product given which perhaps you have a new way of frying chicken without seasoning and it seemed to not be thoroughly cooked as not the case ever before. We couldn't find a way to eat our chicken what was purchased ? and we tossed it in the trash
Had not had the chance to get by a Go Chicken Go in AGES ... Was just as good as I remember.. Got me a full order mixed gizzards &livers some Go sauce and my rolls. Doesn't get much better than this.
They need to expand to go chicken go on 7th Street to make it a dine in their food is great an original and that's in Kansas City Kansas that customer service is very awesome and their lines is never a wrap around the corner and their food taste is the same as it was when they first open awesomely great a good qualities outstanding very clean I appreciate this Go Chicken Go
Always perfect gizzard and buttered rolls oh so tasty. Love the 7th St KCK location, which is the closest to the Northland KCMO at this time. Looking forward to a new location up North soon.
Definitely replaced churches chicken cravings with this, sad I never known about this place til my 20's Great tasting food for a fair price.
