It’s never too busy here, but pretty good staff and really good food! The food comes out quick. Drinks are strong (go during Happy Hour and get the $6 fishbowl margarita!) and menu is large. They also have free chips & salsa to start. Chips are seasoned too kinda like Doritos.
Went here because everywhere else around was packed. Sure glad we did!! Food was great, reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly. Definitely recommend!
I truly enjoyed the peach margaritas and chicken/beef nachos from El Toro Loco...absolutely delicious!! The waiter was cool & friendly; he didn't have you waiting for a long time. I can't wait to go back!
Big group before the Union Omaha and KC Sporting game. Staff was friendly and cery accommodating to our tables. Food was faster than expected and delicious.
07.02.2022We like this place at the Legions area. We usually visit when we have a KC Monarchs games. Today oddly we both ordered the fajitas mix burrito. it was covered in queso cheese. It also came with rice and choice of black beans, refried beans or churro beans. The burrito had fajita veggies, beef, chicken and shrimp. all of it was very very yummy. Sometimes when you get a burrito with shrimp in it they put those tiny salad shrimp in. We found about 6 full (size 30-40) shrimp (peeled and devanned). We also ordered a picture of Texas margarita so split between two. This equaled to about 4 full glasses each. We had to ask for limes. We were very happy with the margaritas and burritos. We both brough half our burritos home for even more enjoyment another day.
Love every bit of El Toro Loco and its atmosphere located at the Beautiful Legends in KansasCity Kansas. I ate here with my friend and got the grilled shrimp fried chimichunga smothered with creamy cheese sauce. I chose the refried beans and rice for the sides and it was delicious. I wish there would of been more beans and rice for the sides but it was still filling. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. I did ask for my soda to be in a to go cup but I don't think she understood what I meant due to being of Latina decent. Her English was still pretty good though and she made the meal more authentic. This place is definitely worth checking out and I will be returning soon when I crave authentic Mexican food that's beyond amazing to the pallete. 5 stars across the board.
Omg the SANGRIA was delicious ?. The food was great with the authentic Mexican flavor. I will definitely be coming back. Suggest going around 4pm if you want to avoid big crowds. It was not busy at all when I went.
