I normally don't leave many reviews but this has to be an exception. I had the fried chicken mixed meal tonight and my husband had the chicken sandwich meal. My fried chicken was greasy, dry and seemed to be old chicken that was already premade. It tasted as if the greased that the chicken was fried in hasn't been changed in quite sometime. My fries were also quit greasy and not crispy. Lastly, the green beans were tasteless and had absolutely zero seasoning on them.The reason I'm submitting this review is because I had the same experience when I had the fried chicken sometime last year. I thought I would give them another chance because everyone has bad days, but it seems the fried chicken meal is an everyday bad day type of meal. My husband's chicken sandwich was ok, but not great and his fries were just as limp and soggy as mine were.Cracker Barrel has GREAT breakfast food and from now on, that is what I will stick with. I am very disappointed to have used my cheat meal for this. Oh and I failed to mention that I ordered mixed chicken, and even paid for it to be mixed, only to get a box of thighs and 1 chicken breast.
Restaurant was a little on the cool side, we were seated near the main isle. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The food was prepared well. The presentation was off some because the mashed potatoes were served in a small bowl, as were the baked beans. The fried chicken was served on a platter.
We totally enjoy visiting Cracker Barrel. The menu has something for everyone. Reasonable prices.
Ate here yesterday and loved it. Our server was Haillee and she did a fantastic job, very kind and friendly! The food was delicious and their biscuits and hash brown casserole were fantastic. Great pancakes and sausage too. Would definitely come back again. Nice gift shop area as well.
The mix sweet tea and lemonade had to add 4 packets to sweeten and ordered sweet tea because took 2 sips and didn't taste right. The sweet tea needed sugar so it doesn't taste sweet at all. The biscuit and fried apple was the best thing I ate. The hash mash something with cheese yuck and dumplings a no go. I will just purchase biscuits next time I come. The food this time wasn't that great. Will not return. The people who work there was rather pleasant and I purchased some trinkets from the store was happy. Although I would have enjoyed getting some plsying cards but they had none available today. I did see 2 clothing items I wanted immensely and had to pass my luggage was loaded and I was going back home.

The food was pretty good. Michael our waiter did a great job. The rest of the staff did an amazing job and the place was packed. I just love the little store too. You can find so.ethings you don't see anywhere else..
Horrible experience from a employee and the manager after placing a online order and getting all the way to the store to pickup my order just to be told they don’t have “any food left” and getting a paper that says it was refunded shoved in my face by the manager after I asked when the refund would be issued.. will be taking my business at another location in the future. The employee also sat there not going to get a manger for me and rolling her eyes when she was not being helpful saying she had no idea about my order. She is the gal with black and white hair in braids maybe young 20’s. Please actually call your customers to let them know you won’t be making their order.
Store did not honor Gift Card after five contacts. Customer Service would not answer phone. Store Manager could not help. Another person came up to complain as I was expressing my frustrations. The other person was having similar experience.
