Absolutely horrible, I shouldnt have to wait 30 minutes to get my order takin in the drive thru nor have to wait 30min for a doordash order. If you are not going to open the inside fix your speed time. This is beyond ridiculous
The drive through attendant was personable and helpful. Fish was a little over done, but not enough to dissuade me. I will give it another go
Should have reconsidered reopening after the fire. It'll take 25 minutes to get your order. Dining not open. Sit in the drive thru to get cold food. Just close already.
On May 19, 2020. I went to Captain D’s on State Avenue in Kansas City Kansas. And around 9:15 PM. I sit in the line for about 10 minutes waiting for my food to be done. I expected for it to be fresh. I didn’t check it until I got home. I went back to see if my order can be remade because my fish was soggy and my fries were soggy as well. I ended up calling the facility to see if my order can be made and another manager from a different facility answered and said this is in my store. Which by the way she was very rude to me so she ended up going to get the manager of the store and as I’m still on the phone the manager asked who it was she said girl some customer and so as I was trying to explain to her about my order she was very much rude to me which she stayed it was that she don’t have time to deal with me tonight she’s not remaking my order and I was very professional and polite with her but she ended up hanging up in my face. I was already in the drive-through in the store was closed yet. So I expected for my food to be remade after I spent my hard our money to receive something fresh so she ended up turning off the lights and not coming to the window. I am very upset because I expect managers to be professional. That is not how someone in that position should treat a customer. I don’t have her name but I do remember her voice and as far as the other one voice . I would like for something to be done because she is like that all the time. No one should be treated that way.
The food is great when your able to actually order. I've gone 6 times in the past 2 months to the location on State. And every single time was told their system is down. This is the only location near me but at this point I give up. It's not with the time if going if I'm only gonna end up eating elsewhere anyway
I get your understaffed, but I made an online order before I came to the establishment to avoid the wait in line. Unfortunately the inside was closed. It took almost an hour to get my food. Then it was wrong. Waiting outside in my car to call to find out what was going on. The lady there had the nerve to tell me well the people after you have to wait too. Here's my problem with that. Yes they waited in a line for their food and left. I'm still here for my online order. Doesn't matter I'm so done with this! If I could give this place no stars I would!!!! Run don't come here.
Waited in drive through for almost an hour. Then when I pulled up to order, they said it will be another 15 to 20 minutes before they can take my order. When I finally got my food it was ice cold. The okra was drenched in grease and tasted like it was a week old. The two pieces of catfish were so small they looked like two chicken nuggets. Very disappointed and definitely will NOT be coming back.
They need to do much better and making sure their french fries are warm preferably hot, the last three times I went in there french fries are always cold no one wife called french fries especially at the price of your charging these days
Ordered ahead, but still had to wait in long drive thru line (over a half hour). The lobby was not open. And the coupon code didn't work. Was supposed to get free hushpuppies with a coupon code, but it wouldn't take the coupon code. Oh, and the phone number to call to change or cancel an order didn't work. Not happy.
My latest visit today March 21, 2022. The drive through moved at a decent pace of only about ten minutes. The food was hot and fresh. The employees did a great job. I learned a while back do not order on line. There should be a warning on the web site. A while back I ordered on line and still had to wait 40 minutes in line at the drive through. My food was cold and soggy. Wait until after the lobby is open again.
