From the start it was a bad experience. We paid $16 for the unlimited refill drink cups. They ran out of ice by noon, and drinks by 2pm. Also, anyone could refill any cup for free. We ordered food on the app at 1pm. When we arrived at our pick up time at 2pm They were out of some of the items that were ordered, The air was broken in the upstairs part of our room and it was so hot the kids had to sleep on the floor. Breakfast the next day was inedible. It may have been better if they had not run out of forks and it took over 15 minutes to replenish them. We ended up grabbing fruit to take back to the room and when we opened the oranges they were black inside. When we voiced our concerns with the staff, they just shrugged and said nothing. It was a horrible stay.

The GWL is expensive. You must plan for that. We spent two nights in a “suite”- two rooms with a connecting door. Grandma, my two kids and their spouses, and a total of three kids- ages 6, 7, and 9. The bathroom doors in both rooms stuck closed. They were hard to close from the inside, and even harder to open. Luckily the adults were strong enough to pull them open and get out, and luckily the boys were not modest and never shut them. The pillows were huge. I describe it as trying to sleep on a beach ball. My son was okay with it, so if you like a flatter pillow, bring your own. The front desk said there were no other options. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, the shower pressure was fine. The water park was great for the kids. The six year old wore a life jacket everywhere, and the older two swam. The life guards were everywhere and attentive!

The GWL is what it is, but as an EV user I was it off by the management refusing to allow us to plug in to an exterior outlet citing “liability concerns. With no reasonable options within 10 miles, if you’re an EV user, best to spend your $$ elsewhere.

The water in there had feces floating in it, the room was nasty , food overpriced and terrible, management wouldn’t do anything about it, don’t waste your money there - very expensive and not worth it, I saw bedbugs in the room - the sheets were stained and towels were dirty- the bathtub had hair in it and there was stain of some foreign matter on the comforter- looks like they never washed it , told front desk the issues and they would not help remedy the problems-

Disappointing. Clean room, but dinner was not good at the resort wasn’t good and the waterpark closes at 8, so we didn’t get to enjoy it much. Kids didn’t enjoy the dance party. They returned after 10 mins. Easy to spend a lot of money there. Hopefully the other locations are better.

My stay at Great Wolf Lodge was very disappointing. I don't think I would ever go back and tell everyone they shouldn't go either. I used to take my nephew to the great wolf lodge every year for 5 years. At that time our experience was wonderful. So, I decided to take my 6yr old for his birthday. I don't know where to begin with the problems I encountered. First, When I talked to the customer representative on the phone to make the reservations they were rude (all the staff were rude). They had no information about the hotel ( neither did the workers at the hotel) except that you couldn't check-in until 4pm and seemed annoyed that I was even asking questions. They told me to ask the front desk clerk these questions when I checked-in. They said the room we wanted would only come with 4 wristbands that gave us access to the water park even though the max capacity was 6 people. If we wanted additional wristbands it was an additional $100 per person per night. I wanted to take my nephews so my son would have playmates. But, we could not afford those additional costs. The front desk clerk that checked us into our room explained that 6 wristbands actually came with the room at no additional cost. I was heartbroken because I could have brought my nephew's and my son wouldn't have been alone with just adults on his birthday celebration. I started asking the front desk clerk the questions the representative could not answer. He had no idea what was included in the paw packages, how to participate in the MagiQuest games, times and locations of the free kid events, how you get the equipment to play mini golf, and barley about the amenities of the hotel such as shops, restaurants, and even ice machines. I was expecting at least a brochure that could show me where things were located in the resort. Instead I was told to go to the 1 billboard in the lobby that flashed across the screen some information. So, we were left on our own to find all of these answers. Second, we finally made it to our room after a long days travel to find no blankets on the bed, no hygiene products except for 1 small bar of soap to wash your hands and shower with, no complimentary water in the mini fridge, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the 80s. Come to find out you don't get your room cleaned and bed sheets changed daily. Only upon request will they service your room. Luckily I had brought a couple bottles of water. I asked a worker where the ice machine was and she said she didn't think they had one. So, she sent me to the restaurant to fill up my ice bucket. The restaurant staff didn't know if they had ice machines and filled up my bucket. But, my thoughts were I have to come to the restaurant everytime to get ice. I later discovered they had ice machines on the 2nd and 4th floors at the end of the hallway. We were on the third floor. Final, we made it to the water park about 4:30pm since we couldn't check-in until 4 pm. I went to order drinks and it took 20 minutes for the bartender to make 2 drinks. We ordered food from the concession stand that took 15 minutes. As soon as we started having fun they kicked us out. They close the water park at 7 pm. It doesn't even get dark until after 9pm. The lodge had changed all of their time schedules. The water park opens at 10am and closes at 7 pm. You can't get into the pool until 11am. Instead of posting a sign the lifeguard decided to yell at everyone that tried to get into the pool before 11 am. All of the gift shops, restaurants, and activities don't open until 9am. It's ridiculous to be paying $270 a night and be limited to these hours of operation! I feel like I didn't even get my money's worth. I could go on about how the staff was just standing around talking while customers waited, how there were no mats in the water park and the floors were slimey, how the resort is all non-cash and the confusion that created, and how there were incorrect charges on my final bill.

We stayed in a family suite for three nights for spring break. I felt bad giving just 2/5 stars but I would say it’s maybe 2.5/5. The business is printing money which is fine, if the facilities were receiving some of that back to maintain the condition you would expect for 500 dollars a night. Rooms desperately need upgraded. For instance, shower is a 5.99 spout nothing you would ever find paying this much anywhere else, no USB plugs in the room which are pretty standard now. Carpets, railings, lighting all dingy and dirty. The kids will have loads of fun, but Great Wolf could learn a few tips from Disney on how to create loyalty. Will not be back.

Very overpriced for what you get. Rooms are dated and poorly lit. Outlets are in weird locations and some of them didn't work - not ideal for charging phones. No hot water in showers. Sink and tub drain very slowly. At the end of each shower, you're standing in 6 inches of water. Everything is designed to get you to spend more money. Prices in the arcade go up at night versus during the day. Food is overpriced. $27 for a bottle of substandard wine.... The water in the waterpark is not 84 degrees. I'm not sure what photos are posted on their website, but some of the photos are misleading - they are either highly staged or of another, newer facility. Our six-year-old did have a lot of fun, but the water park is not really conducive to a one-year-old. Was led to believe Cub Paw Pool would be slightly more engaging than 18" of cold water for a toddler to stand in while being bombarded by hard jets of water. We paid for a week's stay in a suite, but definitely do not feel like this is worth the money spent. Would NOT recommend this location. The staff was fine and helpful - but the facility did appear to be understaffed.

Overall a great experience. I didn’t feel I could give 5/5. But if 4.5/5 was an option, I would have given that. Staff is phenomenal and easy to work with. I divided below some pros and cons. Pros Great rooms. Lots of space. Lots of activities Lots of different water attractions (slides and such) Staff is very nice and are all about the experience for the kids Ability to go and unwind in your room from activities is easy Checkout process Cons Everything inside of resort is expensive Pool can be very crowded 4 elevators are not enough for busy times Checkin process As with anything, lack of staff has some things shut down for parts of our visit We didn’t experience it but lines at restaurant were crazy long at times Tips Bring your own food and eat in the room Get a paw pass… worth the money

Went for a long weekend as a family with our kids, ages 10 and 7. I will say the kids had a blast and really enjoyed it. They were the perfect ages for all the waterpark attractions, and loved the waterpark. Waterpark was very clean, restrooms in the waterpark were gross. Rooms were OK, nothing special, very outdated, beds were not comfortable. The food and food service were a nightmare, and everything "extra" costs extra money. If we did it again, we would stay at a nicer hotel and just get a day pass. We spent hundreds of dollars extra in just two days in addition to the room fee. The front desk staff were very very nice.
