Again my friend took me to this amazing spot. Not only is the food prepared fresh, read:daily made chips, inhouse processed beef, salsa prepared 3 days a week, the interior is imported from....you guessed it, MEXICO. This is Mexican made by Mexicans. Great deals of 21oz margaritas and more food than one can eat in a sitting. Vegetarian options. The spinach enchiladas are divine!
It's one of those place that everyone around here either loves or hates. There is so much Mexican food in town it runs the gamut. I find them to be right in the middle of the eh, to good range. To their credit the service is good.
The service was excellent, but the inside and outside could use a renovation. The food was on par: flavourful and salsa was delicious. However, our food was mixed up multiple times. I am boucing between three and four, so four it is.
We met another couple there after 6pm to have a couple drinks then dinner and get caught up on old times! We’ll surprise! It’s more of an after work watering hole! So noisy we couldn’t even talk to our wives let alone across the 8 man table they gave us instead of a four topper!The help was hustling well. Out gal was very loud speaking person. At first I thought she just was a loud talker but NO!! She’s a Friday evening regular and knows to start out loud or the clients will never hear you!My food was cold, never completely warmed up from the cooler, cold-I sent it back. They zapped it and brought it back it was hot as lava!Moral of the story? Stay out of El Patrio (Friday and Saturday evenings), anyway!
Good food, had several front of the house employees at our table throughout our visit, was nice to see the teamwork exhibited... definitely not something you see everywhere. Oh, and the chips and salsa brought to the table minutes after we sat down were very delicious...some of the best salsa I've had at any restaurant! Give them a try!
Food was great, would have been 5 stars if we didn't have to experience very loud party behind us while 2 other tables were complaining of the same issue. Just won't be back on a Friday night again lol
Poor service an food was terrible. The cheese sauce was basically white water. An they messed up on 2/3 of our order. Won't be coming here again.
Waiter was not very attentive. Kept acting like we were bothering him. Food was ok, not outstanding. Clean. Waiter would come and hurriedly take our order and then start to leave and we would have to say, just a minute. Did this a few times. And they weren't that busy.
Everything was just so very delicious as it is everytime we go in there. We haven't ever had any kind of problem everyone is ALWAYS very nice and FRIENDLY that's why we always come back..Thank you all so very much and we will see you all again soon.Donna and Richard ????
Reminds us of California family friends restaurant the food good shrimp Cocktails, Mojarra frita. Asada quesadilla salsa and chips. Background Mexico Music Antonio aguilar. Vicente Fernandez old timers the real tradition. We drove 1 hr food is good and service ?100%
