I was meeting five of my friends there. went to the bar to have a drink while I wait. The bartender was absolutely horrible. Waited over five minutes to be acknowledged. When we were knowledged she was very rude. When all my friends got here we all decided to go to Applebee’s instead just because of the bartender. This is the Chili’s in Hutchinson Kansas on July 27 at 6:30 PM.
Quality of food was poor. Could not eat what they called french fries. They were blonde and cold. Not enough wait staff. Felt bad for our waiter he had the entire bar side alone. We received our salads with our meals. Won't return.
The margarita was so tart, didn't have simple syrup to sweeten it, bar added some strawberry something to it, just made it taste like tart strawberry...bar had too many tables to get to us quickly, waited 10+ minutes to be greeted and to order. Salads arrived just as the main entrees were brought out. Bar lady was good once she finally got caught up.
Queso Burger, Ceasar with Salmon, Chips with Queso... all was great. Have not been to Chilis in years because it was not good. Will be coming back to this location on a regular basis after this experience. Good Job Team!!!
Very good service. Was there around 9:15 and they close at 10. Took a bit to get our food, and they never rushed us, even after closing. The food was very good as well
Stopped at this restaurant on our way passing through Hutchinson, KS going home. It started off with our food coming out at a temperature less than tepid, and corn on the cob with mayo? Never heard of that one and am willing to try new things but was not in favor of that combo with the corn. Toast was like soggy bread with melted butter. When we told them of our concerns with our dislikes, they did promptly try to resolve them, (only reason for the 2 stars, otherwise would just be a 1); they came back to our table with an empty plate to take our food in question back, but insisted that we put it on the empty plate ourselves; later only to learn that they did this just to reheat with a microwave and return the same food to us; which was fine; but when they returned it and left, we started to eat our food only to find it at the same temperature! Unbelievable! What a waste of time and money that we felt like we just threw away. Nothing like a bad experience and if they would have offered another chance with a free meal, I do not think I would take them up on it.
Went in sat down and waitress came right over. Asked us what we would like to drink. Also we asked to redeem our rewards free chips and salsa. 25 minutes later we got the chips and salsa after flagging her down from chatting with a co worker. Food followed shortly after and was great! I finally got a refill on my water after I had eaten my meal. Great food very bad service!
The reason for any stars was the service. Our waiter was excellent, the food however was horrible. My daughter didn't even eat her hamburger. The burger was way over cooked and charged. My other daughter ordered the grilled chicken on the kids menu and it was fried. Needless to say it wasn't the best dining experience.
Food not the best. Steak was really tough. Service not the best but where is service good anymore. Not attentive of filling up water glasses.
They don't know how to correctly cook chicken wings. I ate there a few days ago and I was served raw chicken wings. So I suggest if you order wings ask for them to be cooked extra well done
