My daughter had a stomach ache and wanted a salad. We didn’t want to pay 15 for a salad for a 5 year old. They made it happen!
Waitress was awesome, friendly and attentive. I got the Chicago cheese steak, but probably wouldn't order again. Sandwich was kind of dry, and didn't seem like there was much cheese. The waffle fries were good, and they have a massive amount of beers to chose from. Definitely want to try the pizza next time
Usually food is good here. We ordered two apple walnut salads for pickup. The greens barely covered the bottom of the packages, the chicken looked ground up , 3 slices of apple no garlic bread at all. Used to be staple for this salad. They say they do not do bread anymore. Very skimpy salad. Very disappointed. And expensive for 1/4 of what the salad used to be. Won't be ordering anymore or going there.
We had and always have a great time, had a very delicious, a very satisfying meal!!! Our waitress was so kind, playful and so patient with our 3 children!! Thank you Old Chicago for setting your standards high and serving high-quality food accompanied with high-quality ingredients and each time we go we are never disappointed we are always served the same high-quality meal every time!!!?
Me and my family used to love OC. When they first came to Garden we loved going there. However recently we stopped going as often because of covid, so tonight was our first night there after a while.To begin, when we got there the lady took our order and everything was going as planned. We ordered 4 meals, an appetizer with around 3$ off and 2 beers for 1$ off each. It took them around an hour to get our food out, and a table that had gotten in after us got food before us. We didn't receive our appetizer in that time either, it came after our food, and it was cold. They had also changed the garlic bread that came with it, and it seemed to only have a little smear of butter on it, nowhere near what they used to have. Our food was underwhelming, the mac and cheese we ordered was extremely dry and the spaghetti that I got had hardly any noodles in it. As we were waiting for these meals as well, she said that they were plated and would be out shortly. About 20 minutes later she comes out again and says it was the meatballs that were taking so long in the meal. There were 2 meatballs with it, each that, with this being a restaurant franchise, were probably pre-cooked and were easy to warm up.When we got the tab, we recieved nothing off as we should have because we ordered before 6. The waitress changed the appetizer amount but said that she was mistaken and the dollar off of the beer was only for domestics, despite the advertisement on the sign saying nothing about that. All it said was a dollar off pints.Overall, recently, for the price of the food and the service that we have recieved, I just don't think that it is worth it. I wouldn't recommend.
The wing flavor I ordered had a misleading name because they weren't hot at all.... but they were delicious and had a really good crispy texture.The spaghetti pie was an interesting concept and not what I expected. It was really good but there's something missing that it needs to make the flavor pop.I can't stand restaurants that say they deliver and they actually don't, door dash does for a fee, by the time you add a tip you could have fed 2 more people. I almost brought it down to 3 stars for lying about delivery. Just because others do it doesn't mean you should.. meh, on 2nd thought I'm making it 3. The delivery driver was cool though. He tried scoring me a real fork to eat with at my hotelIf this place was near my home in Dallas I'd eat there once a month fosho.
Food was fine but not noteworthy. Service was the main detractor. Drinks arrived 20 mins after they were ordered, appetizer showed up after main courses. The bar area where I was seated was rather busy, so I’m taking that into account.
Appetizer and drinks were great, waitstaff was attentive. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, meatballs were ice cold and chicken pesto pasta NO chicken in my dish which was also like it was taken directly from the refrigerator. Let the waitress know who said she would let the manager know. Never seen the or heard from manager.
Clean, nice but some food doesn't even taste as good as it does at pizza hut.
Use to be my favorite place to go but last time we sat a hour at booth not one waiter helped us I'm pregnant now can't drink beer but when I sit at bar I get served INSTANTLY... BUT pregnant naw I wanted food and good service ? ? so we walked out. Kinda sad. . . Won't be back til I can have a beer again guess they lost a LOYAL CUSTOMER. Waitress once FINALLY came waited til I was in restroom to talk to my MAN and was very unprofessional rude and disrespectful so ? yeahhh f that... bar tenders are the best staff there... can't wait to go jave a beer in like a YEAR ha... f it.
