Placed a carry out order and when we returned home, the food we ordered was cold and a shrimp salad was added to our ticket that we never ordered. We drove across town to return it and get our money back. My husband never received the tortillas for his carne asada, and instead of a cheese enchilada that we ordered, it was instead chicken. First time trying the restaurant since it moved. We are not ones to complain about an order, but when you have to drive clear across town twice and the order is still wrong, it is very frustrating.
The waitress was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. I won’t be going back.
What a great little place, decorated with traditional paintings on booths, tables and walls. There is a great selection of food and everyone in the restaurant had smiles on their faces and were very attentive. This restaurant was recommended by the hotel we were staying in (Best Western Emerald Suites, great place to stay) and it was so worth the few extra minutes drive to. The chips came out warm and the salsa was very good! The food was so good, we went back the next night to eat again! Next time we are in town, will definitely be back!

First time eating here so I had no expectations, but this place blew me away! The chips and salsa are fabulous as I devoured 2 entire bowls myself! I ordered the Enchiladas Rancheras with cheese Enchiladas only and it was spectacular! I have lots of experience with Mexican restaurants throughout the country and this one is in my top 5 ever! The staff was also so great! Thanks for a great experience! I will be returning next time I am in town!
I love Mexican food and have had it all over the US and several places in Mexico. This is hands down the worst I have ever had. Tacos were flavorless and soggy. Their new jalapeño poppers cold not be more bland. The peppers fell far short of the spice level of bell peppers. No flavor at all. I have no idea how this restaurant got to be so highly rated. Perhaps cooking staff changed with the new location. Maybe there will get better but I won’t be back. To be fair, the draft beer was cold and perfect. Wait staff was obviously extremely new but that is a sign of the times. They were friendly and trying.
