My menudo had hairs… and a lot of them! Do not recommend?
The food was good and the price was not bad for what we got.
Being it was our first time at El Canelos, visiting from out of town, the food took to long to come out. We ordered mini tacos and food was to salty and presentation was bad. Meat tasted hard and old, barbacoa was to greasy. And for what we paid for, not worth it. :(

Every single time Ive went they’ve messed up my order. I went in today for the last time when I told them I wanted no cheese ((allergy) always do & they always still put some) & I went back too correct my order & they didn’t change it, they just added more beans on top & stirred my beans too hide the cheese...& there food ain’t ever got flavor anyway so its not worth your money.
Food is pretty delicious. Service is a bit slow. I do recommend if you have some time and are craving a nice Michelada for one of those awful hangovers.

Was looking for local taco shop in Kansas an found El Canelo just down the street from my hotel. Went in and has a super cool Mexixo vibe. I thought, yep, I'm gonna get a true burrito here. I spoke to the girl with a great smile behind the counter and specifically asked whats in the burrito (cuz I'm not in Daygo anymore). Sue said, "meat, rice, beans, onions." Oops not authentic enough for me. I asked to add guacamole, she confirmed my guacamole add. I was charged for guacamole. I got no guacamole. Unfortunately I had taken the burrito to go. I ate this burrito and it was very dry, it did have a nice spice kick, but overall not even close to a real burrito imo. Srsly no guacamole to the very end. No cap. Got pics from start to middle to last bite. Bummer.
So far my favorite taco Tuesday spot in garden.
This little Cafe has excellent service and the beef soup is fantastic! Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.
