Will never eat here again. We sat in a booth, it looked like something you would see in a teenage hangout, there were things etched or scratched into the silver area above the booth seat, the light fixture had dead bugs in it and it was hanging low enough to see, it looked run down and dirty. The server was ok, he did mess up once on our order by not putting in a dessert order, 2 ordered steaks and they were unseasoned, as was the burger that I had. We did mention to our server that the food was not good, that it was unseasoned and he did offer to have the manager come over, but it was a birthday lunch for our granddaughter and we didn't want to cause a scene, so we said no, I guess I kinds assumed he would tell her regardless of what we said and rather than come over just comp our bill or offer our dessert to be on the house, but nothing, and yes we did tip our server regardless of our bad food.
Worst Applebee's visit ever. Fries were so salty i thought I was eating straight from salt shaker. Riblets were cold in middle and they were nasty, like I was eating dog food, no flavor. Then the waiter took my chips away when I was still at the table. I will never go back there.
Zero customer service, sat at bar for 15 min was not acknowledged by any of the 4 staff members, when I asked if I should just serve myself the staff member said " oh yeah the bartender is in the office, should I go get her?" I left, I can understand being short staffed, and possibly having to wait longer. But that's just ignorant behavior and I don't have time for it. Applebee's corporate should spot check this place.
Most food was good except mac and cheese , it had bacon in it and don't eat pork nor beef
The steak was good and our waitress was very patient. We were there for about 3hrs. I just wished the tea would of kept coming after the bill was paid. Otherwise it was good and have been craving steak since!
I believe the waitresses name was Madison it was her 4th day there on oct 16 2021 she was awesome I loved her attitude I hope she keeps up the good work

Our waitress was not attentive at all. One person in our party tried numerous times to tell her he needed something and she ignored him. She seemed like she would rather be elsewhere. The food was good, but due to her poor service this review is going to reflect poorly. Because of her service I will not be revisiting the Applebee's in Garden City Kansas.
The food was nothing special at best. In fact horrible soggy overdressed Caeser salad,vbut the server was great.
Had reservations at Applebee's restaurant Garden City Kansas for 15 people last night. We had to wait 45 minutes for them to have tables ready after we arrived. Our drinks and food orders were taken promptly a short time later. As we started receiving our food orders to were lost and two orders were wrong and had to be fixed. One of the orders that was lost was found the waitress informed us that the manager would be out to talk to us. The two orders that were lost were finally made and arrived at the table about the time everyone else was done eating the manager never did come to our table. The food was disappointing and the service was mediocre. I myself ordered a 12 oz ribeye medium rare when it arrived it did not appear to be a 12 oz ribeye and was cooked wrong. At a price of $15 to $20 a plate including drinks and appetizers I expected a lot more. At this point I'm pretty sure I will not be taking my family back to Applebee's unless something is done to change my mind. Lloyd Dinkel
