We seem to go any day but free pie day. Our timing is off and our radar is broken too. My wife is vegetarian and able to pick the sides she wants. Not a lot of restaurants offer this. She had lunch and I at breakfast, which was on point as usual. Food and service was and is good it seems, all the time. And thanks for the 'military discount'.

My elderly Mom loves Bkfst. I hate it, perfect compromise. I had Pick 3 for $9.99. Got a FRESH colorful salad, cup of chili, & slice of Sugar-Free Apple pie. Plenty to eat. Like it better than IHOP @ 47th & Bdwy. Village Inn is cleaner, so much wonderful sunlight coming in big windows puts customers in better moods. Waitress friendly, knowledgeable, well trained. Restrooms kept clean. Appeared better staffed than other restaurants & fast food currently is. Highly recommend. Only reason not 5, had very few pie selections despite it being Pi Promotion. Staff explained trouble w/pie supplier, in process of changes.
Great food. The gm. Sam is really awesome. She made our experience wonderful.
The service was excellent. The food tasted good all around. Most of all the server went out of her way to get us what we wanted. The only thing we dinged them on was the Denver omelet. It used to be like a large burrito from a Mexican restaurant. Now it is the size of a small taco from the bell.
Everything is so expensive I know prices have gone up but our social security checks havent I had broccoli chase soup that was so thin you couldn't hardly find the broccoli and was more like a warm bowl of water couldn't even taste the cheese. But will go back to make sure it wasn't just a fluke. Always have good service.
The Village Inn in derby is revered by locals as the best breakfast in town and I would have to agree.

My husband and I did go on one of the busiest days of the year for them, Veterans Day. They did get us seated quite quickly and the service was good, but the quality of the food was lacking.
Guys! This is my very first time buying a pie from Village Inn, and oh my gosh! So moist, full of wonderful pumpkin flavor and spices! Was a good choice, highly recommended!
