I asked for ranch flavored fries, when I got them they were not properly season, I came back thru and they said ok and the me fries with less seasoning and the cup wasn't full, I said again I want the proper amount of seasoning and they gave me some dribble about large fries having less seasoning than the small but ironically they have the same amount of seasoning. Then to add insult to injury they handed me a cup of seasoning, so now I'm paying for seasoned fries and I have to season it myself, also it's not fresh enough for the powder to stick, essentially I got told to go fu¢{ myself. Now if I didn't go there for a breakfast bowl every morning on my way home from work I wouldn't ever return.
Got a chocolate shake here awhile back, what a joke soft serve vanilla whith chunks of hard chocolate, came back , better shake. Hamburger over cooked
Service was good. I loved the atmosphere and theme of the restaurant. I got a rubber burger and fries. The burger was good the fries were good but just too much sea salt.
This place is a throwback to the jukebox 50's diners. If u like Winsteads u will love this place. My daughter is a huge Elvis fan at age 17 and upon stepping inside was fangirling and taking pics. Not only was the food good they had wall to wall pics of Elvis plus a statue u could be photographed with. Its a legends throwback Elvis, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe the original batman and more. U have to go there its too much to write about
Drinks were good along with our food & the service! The Philly cheese steak was delicious!
Pretty decent Spangles. Was pretty quick service, and the employees were polite and courteous. Much better than the other 3 I have had the pleasure of visiting. This one was pretty clean honestly.
I have been going to spangles off and on for 20 years. There are only two locations I would rate 5 stars to. The first is in Salina,KS and the second is in Derby, KS.You see when I go out to get anything I look at the quality of the experience along with the produce. Sometimes the products don’t deserve a 5 rating but everything else does. But the 2 locations are a step above the rest. They never know when I am coming in to just eat or do a review. But when I leave I that them all for a job well done. These 2 locations I would recommend before any of the others.
Out of all the Spangles I have been too this one has wonderful and polite staff. Although they left one of my burgers out thru the drive thru, I know they didnt mean too they was very busy, but they was very apologetic and very nice. I would definitely recommend this Spangles!! Oh and cant forget the food was hot and fresh!
3 pm, wanted a regular hamburger with mustard onions pickles, no cheese or catsup. Got hamburger with catsup, little squirt mustard, few sprigs of onion and no pickles. Onion rings were so so. Won't be going back.
Jim and I both had a burger I didn't eat but two bites..the first was bad and the second as bad! Won't go back. He attempted to eat it, but the dry bun made it near impossible.
