Not a good experience. Waiter was not good at all. My dish was supposed to have chicken and beef in it. Only had chicken. He nothing to correct the situation. Never did a refill for my tea. On top of that he used my credit card to pay for some others tables meal. He finally got that straighten out. It was not even busy.
Los Cocos is a fantastic Mexican restaurant! The wait is not long, and the service is quick. When you 1st arrive they offer you chips and salsa. The flavor of the salsa is good with a little bit of spice. The liquid itself is thin; there's not much in the way of beefiness to the salsa. However, this can be good if you don't want to fill up on chips and salsa before dinner. I received a sampler platter and was very satisfied with the size proportions. My dinner was definitely more than I could finish in one sitting. They were quick to give us our order and quick to bring us our drinks. The food tasted fantastic! They have drink specials throughout the week that are definitely not watered down. This is a place I would recommend if you're in the Derby area. It is a good sit-down Mexican restaurant to spend the evening at on a date or with a family.
First time visit. Enjoyed all aspects of visit. Dined early, glad we did as they got busy fast. Sunday's are busy everywhere in Derby's restaurants. We will visit here again. Good job Derby !
The food is was absolutely terrible. The cheese they use in the cheese enchiladas and in their cheese sauce tastes and feels just like Kraft singles. I will never eat here again. I took two bites and could not finish it. I politely told our waitress about the meal I was served and was not offered anything else. This is bad Mexican food even in regards to american tex mex, not even slightly comparable to edible.
Food waa good and drinks were served fast. The restaurant is clean and gives off a Mexican vibe. Enjoyable overall. Id go back.
First time there. Food was good. Beef quesadilla my wife ordered only had a trace of meat and all bell peppers. Service was great. Drinks were good but couldn't taste any alcohol in them. Will definitely go back and give it another try. My kids really liked what they ordered. I really liked the chicharron in Chile verde.
Delicious food!!! Helpful staff, clean restaurant. Will definitely be back. Be sure to order the papas con queso with your shrimp tacos, absolutely heavenly!
Good selection of lunch specials.We all had something different and all thought it was good.Service was a bit challenging however I think that is fairly common in 2021.Place was clean and would comeback again when in town.
Ordered chili Reno, regular crispy taco, and the street taco. All were amazing. The hot sauce and chips were fantastic. Will definitely eat here again.
The food was good, really quick, despite it being a Saturday night. Great prices, and service.
