This is seriously some of the best pizza I've ever had. The crust is nearly perfect as far as my preferences. Great flavor and texture - good mix of crispiness and chewiness.I ordered the taco pizza, mostly out of curiosity based on the menu description. Wasn't quite sure to make of it when I opened the carryout containers, but the first bite said it was a good decision. If I lived in Des Moines, Northern Lights would be my only choice for pizza.And the woman working behind the counter making the pizza is very nice. Great customer service.
2nd time ordering from Northern Lights Pizza. 1st order was a medium Canadian bacon and ham Pizza. Upon delivery it looked like it it had been burnt nasty as hell. Second time ordered a taco slammich. Greasy, nasty & overcooked. Do not waste your $ & your time with this establishment.
Perfectly done (love that you can check “well-done” when ordering); delicious; love the cajun crust. Great staff at the counter.
Save your money get something better. Service was great. But the food is absolutely disgusting. Everything came with a puddle of grease. The breadsticks were raw and the pizza was a soggy mess. All of it went in the trash.

Love love love the breadsticks. The pizza is pretty good too. Husband recommends the Louisiana chicken pizza has a bit of spice but says it’s really good. Also says the pesto Alfredo is good as well but said the bacon was a bit too crispy for him on that one. Employees are friendly. Pizza order usually takes 30 minutes for take out. Haven’t ordered delivery since the first time we ordered delivery time was 70 mins so I would recommend pick up if your able to.
This location is great! They are always busy, the pizza is always delicious and hot. They have unfortunately been impacted by the current issue of not being able to keep fully staffed. A couple of weeks ago, our order was negatively impacted by a drivers car breaking down. I received a call right away with the option to come in for carry out and pick them up or wait for their driver to be available. I was able to go pick up the pizza and they took care of it for me. We continue to support them and it’s been great to see they are super busy whenever we order from them. Also - that garlic butter sauce is amazing.
Ordered carry out through the website. Our order was ready to go when we arrived, and they had plates and napkins for us to take back to the hotel.It was weird that the website didn't have sauce options like our usual store on the East side offers. But otherwise the order was correct, and everything tasted good.
Good pizza. Wish the Scooby had pizza sauce on it. However, like trying new places and it was decent!
Absolutely love this pizza!!! I have to say the people working there are all very friendly. I love the garlic butter dipping sauce to. My husband and I are traveling from C.A to Maine. I must say best food I have eaten in days.. the only this disappointing /sad thing about it is I will never get to eat their pizza again... recommend 10 fold!!! I would give them 5 stars on every aspect ! ❤️❤️❤️ ?
