Raised in Texas—I love anything that resembles that down home vibe. The nostalgic building that serves up fresh pork tamales hits the mark. It does not have an eating area since it is a grocery store that specializes in goods from Mexico. In the back there is a meat shop that serves pre-cooked tamales (pork or beef) at a reasonable price$. I wanted beef, but they were out so I got pork with green sauce. I chose green because the red will set your soul on fire. I did take a taste of the pork ( while sitting in my car)before I took my To Go order home —-Perfect. This is another hidden gem in “The Junction .”
