Very slow service. It took 40 min for food to get to table and then mine wasn't what I ordered.Got a Colorado omelet but I ordered a steak omelet. When we talked to waitresse she did apologize saying it was a new cook. We asked to speak to mgr but never came to table. At least the food was still warm when it came to table.
The food was delicious. Typical menu, lots of breakfast items to choose from. Wait staff was great. Very nice but the bathrooms were kinda gross, looked like they didn't clean them for a couple of days. We will go back.
Literally got basically our whole order wrong nothing was like it was supposed to be we told them multiple times about issues and we was supposed to be discounted for the issue but it was not and we had a $108 ticket and half the stuff missing or wrong and they knew just don’t care I will never come to this one again I love about an hour from ankeny I’ll start going to that one i do not care if this is closer I’ve always had minor problems and they’ve been fixed but this is the last straw pics are all I had from our experience also we waited ove half an hour for like 3-4 meals out of 7??????

Looking for a quick spot to get Strawberry Crepes, pancakes and Turkey bacon this could be a good place to try. The server is friendly and the food is what you expect from an IHOP which is reasonable, hot and bountiful.
Our first time going to I hope this Easter. Amazing is an understatement. The food is great with a variety of customization options. Our waitress Ms Shelby is the most joyful person on this planet. She waited on us with passion, love, patience and kindness like no other. The bathrooms are well taken care of. All the staff are helpful and always smiling. Great place and will definitely be coming back.
In Feb 2021 I place tried to place two online orders twice. After trying for over an hour and a half I drove over to the store and placed my orders to-go. Both times the hostess with limited use of English messed up both orders both times and overcharged me on top of that. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I waited 20 minutes for him to come to the phone. He took my name and address. He said that he would mail out voucher coupons Then he never mailed them. I wrote IHOP corporate this Feb before Valentine's Day of this year saying it was coming up on a year and no one had gotten back yet. They also blew me off by not answering my email. I have never been back since. I would avoid this place at all costs and go elsewhere to eat.
This was the first time visiting IHOP and the experience was outstanding. Erin was very attentive, friendly, and made sure of our satisfaction every step of the way! It has been a VERY long time since we received service like this anywhere! I really truly believe that she should act as a trainer for others to follow. This location will receive tons of business as long as she is employed there. Great job Erin! AND great food IHOP!!
Great waitress and didn't mind my 3 kids being kids. Talked to them and got them whatever they wanted. She knew we had 2 hours on the road ahead of us and even refilled their chocolate milk before we left so we didn't have to stop again.
It was terrible! We took our daughters for supper for birthdays and was so embarrassed. First we waited for almost an hour for our food.Not sure why, as they were not busy with maybe 3-4 cars in parking lot (first clue to leave).We finally got our food and it looked like it had sat for awhile and was room temperature, not even the cheese was melted on my omelet, very dry with no taste. We also had to ask our waitress several times for our food that was ordered but never brought to us, like our side dishes. I noticed the couple sitting behind us, they too never received all of there food they ordered. Not sure if this is a new location or new staff, but very dissatisfied and won't be going back!!
