We had the best experience ever!!! We are from Dubuque, Iowa. We were here for the State Fair, we seen it from the road and it just called our name!! Great House Margaritas and the food was awesome too. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Love the Vibe and Decor!!! Highly recommend!
I’ve given this place a go 3 times now and only one time would I have given it a 3.5 star review.The other two times, service was a mess / never attentive, food is WAY over priced for what it is, queso looks and tastes like velveta, the salsa tastes like marinara, chips always come out like it’s the tiny pieces from the bottom of the bag and the tacos are sub par.Only thing that is decent about this place is they do have a nice patio and their drinks taste ok — with that said it will take a while to come out and they are not very strong for the price.Think this was our last go here.
Try their pozole on Sundays ! Hands down !! And their salsa de árbol is super spicy (on the side)? LOVE it !! You got to give them a TRY ! ????
Great tacos and wonderfully crafted drinks! Definitely a "you get what you pay for" sort of place. If you want cheap bar food and drinks (with a flavor palate to match) this is not your place. But if you're looking for someplace a little different for good food, good drinks, and a good time, look no further!
Just wow! Happened upon this place while visiting and were we ever glad. Fantastic house marg and a mezcal cocktail that was out of this world. Amazing and unique salsa. Fresh and delicious tacos in many varieties. And the service was excellent. Very attentive and fun. We'll come back on our next trip.
I was not impressed with anything with this meal. The chips were stale. The salsa was not good flavor. I had the chorizo taco and they were on the worst tortia and chorizo that I have ever had.
El Guapos is always amazing! Fresh food, unique drinks and the people there treat you like family. I love going here and sitting on the patio just relaxing.

I was here on Friday night. Friendly bartender (Dalton). I asked for recommendations since I hadn't been there before. I had a couple different tacos with rice & beans. Good food and fast service. My favorite was the fish tacos. I will be back.
I love this place. Margaritas are the best. Service is the best. Vibe is the best. Food is the best. The passion that goes into all of it is much appreciated. Can’t say enough good things about El Guapo
