Tasty food and the amazing military discount keeps us coming back as return customers! However, I want to understand why online orders take priority over 5 customers standing in the lobby waiting to order their food. There were at least 4 young employees in the kitchen and none displayed urgency to serve dining in customers.
There at 9:25 (closes at 10) and the employees seemed bothered there were even customers. More than half the ingredients were pulled from the serving area and one worker had to check temperature of meat to make sure it was even edible. I can understand if we were coming in 5-10 minutes until close but the rudeness and lack of quality or options for the expensive price point was terrible.
Every time I've ordered in the past 3 years, without failure, I get home and find the order completely wrong. I'm talking salads instead of burritos, brisket instead of veggies, 2 burritos instead of 3 type of mess ups. I'm not sure what the issue is at this store, but if you're reading this, just get Pancheros. If you do go, check your food before you leave the store and save yourself the time and gas money that it takes to go pick up your misplaced meal.
Workers were very rude when I asked them to remake food because of an allergy. I have never felt disrespected by anyone at a place of business like this. I hope their day gets better and it’s a fluke but it was not ok.
I love their carnitas. Delicious. This location could use some cleaning, but the staff was nice.Smaller dining area inside, also a patio option.$10 for a carnitas bowl and cup of water.
They did mess up the first time around. However, the general manager corrected the mistake and made things right. All were satisfied in the end and they have the best burritos! Great job guys you have a great gm out there.
This store has really gone downhill. Not sure what's up with the staff not communicating online orders but they never complete them or time or lose the order entirely somehow. Staff also seems to fight with each other. Maybe these employees need paid more or better training. Will go to the other WDSM Chipotle from now on.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I felt that this was warranted. I visited on 3/26 and the work station had a lot of spills and was not sanitary in the slightest. The tortilla for my burrito was practically a paper towel because it was collecting sour cream, guac, and spilled salsa that was on the working counter. If you’re worried about food cross contamination because of religious or medical reasonings, maybe go to a different chipotle location or to a different ff restaurant in its entirety.
The containers are always empty and they scrape the food out. Yuck. The white rice is always sticky not fluffy. It's not clean, food all on the sides of the pan. My second time there with 2 different shifts and it was the same thing. The Valley West one is always fresh
Go to Pancheros instead. If you go to this Chipotle make sure to check your order before you leave. They can’t understand the difference between guacamole and queso. When you ask for a chicken quesadilla they give you a cheese quesadilla with chicken on the side? My burrito was put together by someone who spent more time talking to the other people on the line than paying attention to what he was doing for the customers, explains the queso/guac mix up I suppose? Bottom line this will be the last time I visit this location because Pancheros is so close and my daughter prefers them anyway.
