I love Chick-fil-A and I love the one here in West Des Moines. However for the last several times and twice just today I go through and I asked for unsweetened tea. And when I get every time is sweetened tea. That’s not a big deal but if you’re diabetic that’s a major! So that entails that I drive another 10 miles back from my home in order to change out an ice tea and to inform people there that they’ve given me the wrong tea again. Last time I went through and I specifically said it Hass to be unsweetened. And I was given sweetened tea. That’s a lot of gas going back-and-forth over a container of tea. The only other option I have is to ask the person to taste it before they give it to me. But that would be rather unsanitary and unhealthy. I think good money for lots of food for the family. But they just can’t get the key right! The definition of quality is low variability. That’s why I gave a one to get attention needed. Your better than that!
I came with my mother, who uses a walker. We were greeted at the door by a very pleasant young lady who asked if we were dining in, and if we would like to order from the table. Is was so amazing that my mother didn't have to stand in line to order! They provided all services at the table - thank you for your wonderful service!
This is Chick-Fil-A is practicing what they preach. Myself and 23 other young adults are biking across the country for cancer charity. Bennett and this Chick-Fil-A donated 24+ meals to us. They helped us out in a time of need. I appreciate everybody who works there. Excellent food with even better service.
Wouldn't eat inside if you like having a drink, no drink station, no easy way to get a refill, have to go back to main counter while employee after employee walk by, then you might eventually get helped by a manager. Horrible customer service, confused how this is better than a soda fountain for customers.
In My opinion I do not like this place because they took longer than they said Plus they forgot some food and we had to call them and the lady was mean about it and she didn't even say sorry the food is good but the staff are pretty mean this is all my opinion in my experience
As well run as any restaurant possibly could be. Extremely fast, good quality food and I don't think I've ever had an incorrect order here.
Terrible. We came in at 3:15 PM on Thursday, May 26. We ordered at the counter for 3 people. I have 3 issues I’d like to bring to managements attention. I couldn’t find an email & tried calling but extension 5 just rang so this is my attempt at making them aware.1. The gentleman who took the order struggled with making change, but that’s fine we could wait & I’m sure that with todays environment the strongest team members aren’t working the counter however he was also unfriendly - this never used to happen at Chick-fil-A. Even during the heights of the pandemic Chick-fil-A offered incredibly friendly service.2. Our beverages has almost NO ICE. This has become a regular occurrence at the University Ave location & we heard other patrons complaining about it also. I had five little melted cubes in my large glass of tea. The same thing happened with my lemonade last week. I didn’t realize that supply chain issues extended to ice. Surely there is a solution to be found here.3. One of my waffle fries tasted like mold. Unfortunately, although we ate most our meal inside, I took my waffle fries with me to eat in the car on the way to our appointment, as we’re running a little later than planned, otherwise I would have made staff aware of it at that moment.Additionally, if you are going to open the dining room it shouldn’t still feel like a storage area. This is the first time I’ve come inside the store since covid, and you obviously don’t want people to do so. I’m really shocked at how far this restaurant has slipped. It was remarkable during covid and there are obviously managerial issues at this time that need to be addressed.
This is a great Chick-fil-A. It has everything you would expect of a Chick-fil-A, except the drive thru line is generally a reasonable length.I've been to a lot of Chick-fil-A's, this is definitely the quickest I have been to.
Great fast service with clean dining area. Staff is great and friendly.
