It's sort of hit or miss here, but more hits. Today got the take 2. Pick 2 out of these 3: cheesy bread, 1/2 pizza, salad. $10.50. Add a drink for $1.I did the half pizza and caprese salad. The salad was delish. They let you drizzle on your own balsamic so it's to your specific taste. Good idea.For my pizza had Canadian bacon, sausage, mushroom, green olives. Traditional crust. They were skimpy on the cheese today. Oh well. The crust got plenty crisp for me while cooking- also oh well. Still good flavor. I enjoy their traditional sauce.It took about 15 minutes to get my order and it ended up at $12 with tax.Plenty of seating available or you can get carry out.
Yes, My husband and I were those people who came in 15 minutes until closing. We walk it and nothing but smiles and HELLOS!! Another couple walks in 10 minutes until closing and asks if it's too late to order, the gal behind the counter says "it's never too late!" Now thats service. In today's world where people can be so rude they were great!
Always slow, the staff always makes you feel like it’s an inconvenience for them to make your pizza, they never really put enough of any of the ingredients on and make you feel bad for asking for more on your pizza. Don’t ever go here if your in a hurry or on your lunch break because 9/10 times you’ll be late!
The bomb. Any fire blazed pizza is a thousand times better than one on a traditional oven. Recommend to anyone.
My friend and I got home from eating pizza here and got food poisoning from the pizza. The customer service was not that great also. One employee said he couldn’t help me because I put pineapple on pizza. Usually I had good service here but not Saturday night.
Always enjoy Blaze. The concept is simple and executed well.Tried the cheese sticks...were good but could add some additional cheese options and maybe spices to make them great.
I love Blaze pizza and the choices. We had a party of 4 . Not busy at 4 in the afternoon. Little disappointing in the cleanliness of the place. No napkins had to ask. And they gave us paper towels...no explanation. One choice of desserts . Cumbs in glass containers.Bathrooms were a bit disheveled tp on top of dispenser, no paper towels. Pizza was good as always .
Do not call in for take-out. You must be there to get the toppings you want. The way you want. I made the mistake of calling in for a sausage and banana pepper pizza with extra cheese.Of course I carry it home in a box. Get home. Open box. Blow my lid. I actually think they gave me less cheese. One slice had NO cheese.Total rip-off. Won’t ever get my business again.
As far as pizza goes blaze is one of the best when it comes to legit iowan Italian pizza. Best toppings best service fast paced and perfect sized. Even when the line is long they still move very quickly. Great staff. I'm sure great GM haven't met him or her yet, but looks like they run a very tight fast paced and very family oriented business.
