Absolutely delicious.Went twice - so far - and had the butternut squash ravioli because it’s flat out amazing. Also tried the bruschetta and the stuffed mushrooms. Lost track of the dishes on the menu that I want to try next time. Great drinks - especially the mojito - and bread. The ice cream dessert is sublime.Good location and fantastic staff. Looking forward to the next dinner!
Biaggi's is a favorite go to lunch spot with girlfriends. We usually get the pick 2 and really like it. However - last week was VERY DISAPPOINTING. Our server was terrible. Worst I have had in a very long time. We usually like Biaggi's because of the attention we get from the waiters. Took forever, she didn't know the menu, offered to bring a sample of the soup of the day - she never did. We were a fly by to ask if everything was ok. Waited and finally had to ask someone to bring our check. The Italian bean soup of the day had no flavor and it was cold. The lobster corn bisque did not have any lobster in it and it was cold. The wedge salad came out wet and the dressing was very soupy. Had we had time for a leisurely lunch we would have sent things back. Gonna try a local place for lunch next time.
My husband and I grabbed lunch here between doctors appointments. I had the lunch special pasta and salad. I think it was Chicken al forno with Mediterranean salad. My husband got a ravioli dish; they were both great. Atmosphere was wonderful and our food came out pretty quick. I would give them 5 stars but our waiter did not check on us at all. We were out of drinks and didn't get refills, he never asked how our food was and didn't offer a refill on my endless salad. He was knowledgeable on the dishes and seemed nice. Maybe he had an off day.
Biaggi’s delivers quality every time! This lunch was Garlic Shrimp Oreganata. Excellent! Mmm
We dined last evening at Biaggi’s in West DSM, IA. We’ve dined at other locations in the past. Service was great. Our entrees were ‘hit or miss’. Two is ordered the Dijon Salmon, which was my ‘go to’ selection based on other visits, and these were both disappointing. The Dijon seemed to be an afterthought and what was served was a piece of salmon with about 2 T of a spicy Grey Poupon deli mustard dolloped on top. Our friend considered this nearly inedible as served unless we scraped off the very pungent Dijon mustard. This was not the way I’ve had this served in the past. Additionally, the portion size was very small. My little piece of salmon yielded about 5 bites and the amount of pasta in the bowl amounted to about 3 fork fulls. My estimate was that the uncooked salmon was in the 2-3 ounce range from having cooked salmon many times as a home chef. This was also not a bed of pasta in the bowl and in fact didn’t even come close to covering the bottom of the bowl. I understand supply chain and inflation issues and also realize that the restaurant is doing what they can to provide entrees at price points, but this was ridiculous. Clearly not a good value as a consumer choice. I’d recommend Biaggi’s based on sum total of past experiences but will clearly ask about portion sizes in the future.
I came here for dinner for the first time and it was excellent. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and specials. The food came out hot and well prepared. Would definitely go again.
3.5 stars. Ordered fettuccine bolognese. It was good. Good flavor and what I expected. Also ordered pesto ravioli. Really good. Bread they brought out was good as well. Service was ok. Had to wait longer than normal for us to be greeted, had to wait for refills. Didn't seem to interested.
Had been to Biaggi's for lunch over the weekend with family. Food was amazing. We had a reservation, so didn't have to wait.The place was pretty full. We were greeted with some tasty bread and cheese and olive oil. Tasty bread.Mediterranean Salad and Minestrone soup were nice. Fried Ravioli was among the best that we had eaten in any Italian restaurant.Andres ensured that we were attended after quite well. Tasty food, nice atmosphere. Overall, a very great dining experience.
So refreshing to go out to eat again and have a great wait staff. Vered was awesome!
First time there and the service was awesome as well as the food!
