This was a quick, spontaneous visit - there was a super long line and they kept things moving fast. This definitely tasted a cut above standard fast food and I especially recommend the fries and the chocolate shakes. Having now been to two different B-Bop’s locations, the quality seems consistent between the two and I’ll definitely go back.
Used to be amazing when I was younger. These kids that work there nowadays can't even give me the right order, put everything on the receipt so that when I go BACK for my actual order I get what I actually ordered, and worst of all they can't even clean the soda machine. When I finally did get my food after an hour of waiting the soda tasted like it was made with dishwater. Sad to see another great business go because people can't seem to give a ****
We were passing through des moines late at night. They were the only place that was open. Come to find out the were actually wrapping up for the evening but still let us order. The food was beyond my expectations for late night fast food. Everything was prepared perfectly and the fries were crispy. The evening crew that night were on top of guest service.
Stopped in on a Saturday for lunch. We were greeted by Joe the cashier. He was super friendly & made the experience even more enjoyable. There were 4 of us and we ordered burgers & a tenderloin. The food is great & each of our combos were under $8. We will definitely return.
Very good attention from the staff. Solomon was very kind and friendly. The burgers are spectacular. The best milkshakes in the city.
Typical B-Bops. Good food, fresh. The staff was friendly enough. Clean and nice to have a location you can eat in.Only complaint... they only have ketchup packets, no pumps and is a bit of a pain, has to be less economical for the business!
Visited on the way back from a school trip. Pleasantly surprised by the cool retro theme. Great service, came out in less than 5 minutes. This was by far the second most delicious fast food burger I have ever had. When I took the burger out of the bag, it was obvious by the delicious smell that it had been made well and with care. The beef was juicy and the pickles had a dilly bite to them. The fries were very simple but also delicious and would beat out any other fast food fry I've ever had. Would definitely visit again the next time I am in Iowa.
Great place for a good ole fashioned burger and fries. Good homemade style ranch and the burger has good flavor. The staff was very helpful and friendly
I have had good meals from this B Bops even during Covid, line usually not quite as long maybe because they are hard to see from Mills Civic. They stay open and seem to have enough staff unlike other fast food.
Oh man where do I even start. The employees made my day so much better. They will make jokes here and there. Their food is amazing, great service, did I already say amazing food. I love coming here everyone of all ages can come her as well. They have nuggets for the kids and burgers for the parents. I definitely recommend coming here 10/10
