Unfortunately this was a sad experience. We were seated in an area that had people in it initially but by the time we got our food we were alone. We got our shrimp cocktail before we got our drinks, which we had to remind our waitress about our drinks. When we got our drinks they were both warm. We waited and waited and waited for the salad and it never came. We got our dinners which were good, but had to ask our waitress for our salads to go. I am not sure what preoccupied our waitress from reasonable service but she cheated herself out of a 30 percent tip. Just ask any server at Lark brewing ?
My husband and I visited this restaurant this evening. Our server was Kenny. He was polite and attentive. The atmosphere was for the most part quiet. The only improvement I would recommend is the lighting in the restaurant. It was very dim and hard to read the menu. My husband had a huge portion of the Prosciutto, and I ordered the eggplant casserole with garlic toast. We ordered an appetizer of sauteed mushrooms and they were good, but after getting home my husband and I both started having stomach cramps. Since the mushrooms were the only item we both consumed, we believe our cramps have something to do with the mushrooms. The price of the meal I thought was a bit high for my entree but my husband's entree was worth the price,
Ate there for the first time yesterday and it has to be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service was excellent, food came quickly. Our waiter was phenomenal. We got really big portions and they added extra sauce for reheating. Even the water was good. 10/10 would recommend this place!
The food is good, But I think the one in cedar falls has a better options in their menu,
Usually hit up the Cedar Falls BB but decided to do Waterloo BB as CFBB has slipped in some quality aspects such as salad and bread. Located inside the Russell Lamson apartment building the WBB offers a great setting for nice dinners. On this visit they showed me they are a top notch restaurant in the Cedar Valley. Ordered the early bird special Lasagna for $14.95. A bit pricey for the size but tasty. The dinner salad was how it should be unlike the plate of iceberg lettuce you'll get from its cousin on the other side of the tracks. The French bread was warm and fresh also. The place was clean. The service was on point and the dinning experience was great. We'll back more often!
Ordered food to go. Large spaghetti with meat sauce and four meatballs. There was maybe 4 tablespoons of sauce on the spaghetti and none on the meatballs! It didn’t say anything about extra on the menu. This was a treat for my grandchildren. Did you change the sauce or flavoring in the lasagna? Used to crave the old one but this was much different! The best dish was full of pasta with mushrooms and a cream sauce. Chicken Dijon watery and no flavor!Won’t be coming back!
We came here for my daughter’s 22nd birthday. Host was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. Food was delicious with large portions. Lots of delicious garlic bread. Free birthday brownie. Beautiful surroundings and atmosphere. Katie was our server and was very attentive and kind. Thank you.
When you walk into this itilian resteraunt there is a big beautiful room it was grand, it had couches and a huge staircase. It made me feel like I was a very important person. You are greeted by the employees and are asked if you want a kids menu or normal even if you are a kid. The waitress takes you into a room where there is a bar and booths/tables. The room is filled with italian music dimmed lights and great service. Our waitress, Skyler asked us right away if we wanted drinks and got them right away. Right after she got us our drinks she asked us if we were ready for food.It was busy but the food came at a reasonable time. After we finished food she asked us if we wanted boxes or dessert. When we said yes to both she got us it right away. We asked for strawberry chocolate cheescake, she told us right away that they were out of strawberrys but offered to put chocolate chips on top instead. The dessert was great! This place was amazing and I would definetly cone back. 5 stars!.
We got carry out seafood lasagne for 8 and a pan of salad. The lasagne was in a cardboard box which helped keep it warm, but it leaked all over my lap and car seat. I was holding it at a bit of an angle in bucket seats but didn’t expect it to be so watery. It did taste good but would be even better if it was held together by a thick sauce. As it was, it was noodles, seafood with cheese on top. The salad was nothing special but the recommended house made ranch dressing was delicious. The food was ready right on time and we were not offered a receipt.
Moved from Maryland 4 months ago, it was our 15th anniversary. Walked in and thought it was too fancy. Which is a good thing i was not expecting to see a lobby like that. Our waiter Chris was exceptional and very pleasant. The pumpkin pie cheesecake that he offered that we took to go for our kids was delicious. My daughter does not like cheesecake. So we shared. The food was okay though i did not expect to have ham on my chicken parmasean. But all in all the service was fast.
