They double dip their potato oles. Make sure you ask for light seasoning or no seasoning to get guaranteed fresh oles. On top of charging a ridiculous amount for sour cream and nacho cheese, but they charge for house salsa now as well. I visited from out of state and although a small difference, it's greedy that they are charging for salsa.
I do not have many bad things to say about my experience, and my only criticism has nothing to do with this store in particular.To start with the positives, the food was hot and fresh, the portion sizes were good (with a good amount of meat on the tacos), the staff were friendly (and wore gloves and hats when preparing the food), the store was clean, and the food tasted good. However, I felt the prices were high given this is a fast food restaurant.
Newly converted from Taco Bell, I love Taco Johns! I can certainly say that the quality of staff and respect shown to customers varies from one brand to another.My food was prepared fresh at Taco Johns and I could taste the difference in careful preparation versus a burrito being thrown together.Pricepoint is comparable with family friendly options and low wait times.
I usually love this location, but they shorted me $7 and some change from a 100.00 bill I gave them. This isn't the first time they have done this but it is the largest amount they have STOLEN from me. They are CROOKS at this location. Make sure to always count your change twice and get a receipt. Will be calling the police for the next steps as I am retired and can't make more money unlike their dishonest lazy selves. My partner is also disabled and Autistic, he is the one who paid as my anxiety was very bad today as is. He will be paying me back the money they stole because if I go in there right now, I will end up having a full on panic attack. Crooks.
I had my first experience with taco johns at this location and I would say that it was alright. I enjoyed the food and it was made well and in good time, but I don't think that the price was worth it. If it were just a little cheaper I think that would be nice, but other than that, the food is great and enjoyable.
I appreciate that they have a gluten free bowl option so that my daughter can eat at same restaurant as us
Poor space first n for most! But always loved taco johns but Over the past couple years Truely yall Meat has been Nasty Af. But staff are half friendly and the potato Ole's are Always Over Seasoned... Lighten up a bit! Also depending on when u go your food will be half cold... I remember ordering a taco bowl n my whole bowl was cold I called back n complained and yet I still get my order Redone!! Poor management skills n there has never been No Diversity up in that place but yet they are hiring.... I believe half of the food places suck because of the owners poor choice in management!!! But Day Time Is Only The Best Time For This spot.... Be blessed tho
The taco salad was too small and they would not add extra beef to it instead made it a side and charged extra that I could have just put it inside but it was too small of a taco salad.. next time I'll have to buy two or three just to make one big salad
Since I was a young person, which is a long time ago, this Taco Johns location knocks it outta the park. Consistently offering best in class fast Mexican food and service. There's a reason they've been around for over 35 years.
