Delicious coffee! Stayed at a local hotel giant who had horrible coffee. Took the short drive here. So worth it.

I live at the apartments above and I would love to be able to like this place. The staff is all super friendly and nice but the coffee is awful. Any iced drink I’ve gotten tastes like if you mixed milk and water and just put a tiny splash of coffee in there. Any hot drink I’ve tried tastes like burnt espresso and burnt milk poured into a cup. I’ve really tried multiple different drinks and they’ve all just not been good. Not sure if baristas really know how to properly use the espresso machine so it’s not burnt or what’s going on (I used to work in a coffee shop so I know that it can take a while to get the perfect espresso press and timing all correct, but it’s been every time I’ve tried it). As far as food items I’ve only tried one with egg and peppers and onions and the middle of my egg was a little cold and when you bite into the egg it’s almost like water is coming out of it? and just the smell of the one little sandwich made my whole car smell like B.O. but like I said, the workers are all very sweet and happy in the mornings, maybe just need some proper espresso training.

Always love Sidecar. Reliable coffee staple of the Cedar Valley and still one of the best coffee shops we've had country wide.
