Hadn't been to an olive garden in 3 years. Will probably be that long again. Server was excellent. Food was mediocre at best. I had garlic shrimp scampi which wasn't very flavorful. My son had chicken Alfredo....he said it was ok. Salad was best part of meal sadly.
Me and my family wanted to celebrate mothers day for our mother because it was our first mothers day without her after she passed away. We made reservations for our family but let me tell you....it was the WORST experience EVER!! We waited patiently for close to two hours for our food. We ordered drinks and appetizers and that was all we got.. Even after asking what the hold up was, we kept being told it'll be 20 minutes. Which turned into another few hours!! This was such a bad experience on top of ready trying to hold things together missing our mother. I wouldn't want anyone to go through a experience as such!!4 hours lost and money WASTED!!
Every time I've gone I've had nothing but a great experience! Highly recommend especially for the soup, salad and breadsticks lunch! Dinner is also amazing and in my opinion you can never go wrong with pasta!
Not a good place to work. Poor management, poor communication, unprofessional in every way possible, and very toxic work environment. This restaurant hired me and fired me before I ever started (leaving me unemployed as I had already put my 2 weeks in at my previous job.) I had also purchased all of my work uniform (out $200 of my hard earned $$). What’s the reason you may ask? Because I did not share that my ex is an employee there. I don’t see how something like that is even legal and not considered discrimination. Moral of the story, don’t apply here unless you want screwed over carelessly.
Thought I’d treat myself for Mother’s Day to Olive Garden, I ordered cheese raviolis with Alfredo sauce, picked up my order and drove home only to find it looks as if tho they forgot my sauce, needless to say I’m not driving back to Waterloo from La Porte!!! Disappointed!!!!
With all restaurants taking a staffing hit after the last 2 years , it is hit or miss on finding a server that enjoys providing customer service. That night we were served by someone that didn't act like they just memorized the script. They had genuine ideas on selections, refills aplenty, and knew how to make the dining experience a pleasure.
I ate at the bar because seating was not available at the lunch hour without a long wait. Had Soup and Salad and it was good. Next time I go I will likely get a pasta dish. The bread is good.
We order a carry out meal on Sundays for our family of 7. The main dish is always good. The breadsticks are good. We no longer get the salad. The first time we ordered we did, but it was partly frozen which made it inedible. So now one of us just picks up a bagged salad and it works out fine! Main dish and breadsticks work well.
Server was scarce but okay. I went for the soup and found a very long black hair in it after a good stir. Stuffed pasta was dried out. It looked like they were sitting out for a while before being heated.
Service was good food Is very in healthy I bought $5 take home and sauce was all grease
