We were looking for somewhere to eat while in Waterloo/Cedar Falls for the state bowling tournament. We were told that this was the best mexican restaurant in town and we decided to go here and eat.I was craving tacos and they did not disappoint. My husband had the fajitas and enjoyed them as well. We will definitely come back here in the future.
Chilito's was fantastic. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and was really satisfied with the taste, portions, and price. The chips were also nice and hot. I went around 11:30 and had very quick service. The staff was also friendly.
I have had fajitas over 100 times . This is by far the very best ! Chicken and steak fajitas were sizzling . The flavor and presentation was amazing! They also have a fairly decent selection and I can't wait to come back !

Chilito's is quickly becoming a weekly habit. Our toddler loves their queso and chips, and as yet I haven't found anything on the menu I dislike. Fajitas served with pineapple was a new one for me, but it was surprisingly good, especially with the chicken or shrimp. Most of the wait staff are fantastic, there has been one who doesn't seem to pay much attention, mostly minor things like bringing the wrong drinks.
While visiting my Brother and Sister In-law today we went out for lunch. From the moment we went inside we were treated like family and not just patrons. The food was outstanding and the entire staff was awesome. Look forward to returning to your restaurant next time we're in town.After we enjoyed our awesome meals and were getting ready to leave we asked the waitress for our bill. To our surprise we were told that a young lady and her family had paid for our food and drinks. Our bill had to be close to if not over $100.oo the young lady wrote a note on the back of our bill saying that her grandfather father and brother all served this great country of ours and she wanted to say thank you to my Brother and I for our service to this great country. I am so humbled by this young lady to pay Honor to my Brother and I, with a tear in our eyes we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God Bless you and your entire family.
Really good food everytime! I really like going. The service is usually pretty good even when they are busy. They were actually slow last night when we ate and the food actually took a long time. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen. But when it finally arrived it was good
Clean restaurant, very friendly staff, excellent food. Great portion size for the price. I will DEFINITELY be returning here to eat.
Food and service was great. The plate should come with a warning to watch out its hot. Burned my hand. Maybe not get the plate so hot or warn the customer.
