Running some Friday night errands and stopped by to enjoy some pizza.Atmosphere, appetizers, service, and the pizza were all delicious.I love supporting small businesses and we will be returning to Basal soon.Great Eats!
Had the street taco, regular w pep and sausage, and dessert pizza. Very good, next time will dine in, inviting seating area and bar. Friendly! 5 stars in anticipation of next time!
Stumbled upon this place while in town for work and wanted a good local (non-chain) pizza place. The reviews/comments convinced me to give it a try and really glad I did - great tasting pizza (I had the mushroom and homemade sausage). Service was friendly, fast, and attentive. Prices were very good (my bill came to about $16 with a drink.) They call these "personal" pizzas but they are much larger than single serving - easily the size of a traditional medium and will feed 2. Parking is mostly street but I had no trouble finding a spot on a Saturday night.Highly recommended!
We have eaten here for years, both for the food and the friendly service. When we wanted to hold a retirement party we thought that those attributes, along with the layout of having two side-by-side connected restaurants, would meet our needs. We were completely satisfied. We rented one side and entertained about 50 people for two hours at a very reasonable price. Some of us stayed beyond the two hours and things just transitioned to a comfortable after-party. We can’t say enough about the friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and great food.

It was so good! Thick, chewy crust and crunchy, cheesy edges. Apparently it is going to be on the new menu rollout soon and I am stoked! If you’re not a fan of Neapolitan style pizza, check out their new Detroit style. So good!
Hands down the best pizza I have ever had. The cheese bread isike no other. The pizza sauce is absolutely delicious. Tastes like the tomatoes were right from the garden. Crust was perfectly cooked. Absolutely amazing!!!!!

Wow, we came from Cedar Rapids area looking for that pizza place that just had that wow factor. This place did that; the decor, service,food, appetizers and everything was just amazing. Definitely one of those pizza places you alway see on food network and say man I have to go there. Definitely will be returning customers.
This is my favorite pizza place in the Cedar Valley. It’s always delicious and consistent! They also have very good, fresh salads! It’s one of my favorite go to places for lunch! I also appreciate the amazing customer service I always get. I love that I can just text them and they will have my food ready and fresh when I arrive!
