Excellent! Party of 20 sat promptly and servers were great. Food was good.
Building interior is in disrepair.Silverware was full of water spots and needed to be wiped off before using.Most importantly though, the food was not very good at all.One good thing is that our server was very nice and attentive.The Cedar Falls Applebee's is the same distance from my home so that is where I'll go from now on because it is far superior in every aspect except for the the servers, which as I said, were the only good thing about the Waterloo establishment.Sorry for the harsh review! But we were not impressed at all.
Waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. Food is standard Applebee's taste. I do feel that this location needs a total remodel/update. The ambiance is tired, used and old feeling. Not the normal fun filled atmosphere.
Service was good,but the food is horrible and they don't even offer baked potatoes all you get now is garlic mashed potatoes and a vegetable they should offer a salad along with your steak too,we will definitely not be going their again for 50 bucks I could've gone to Texas roadhouse and got a hell of alot better,won't be seeing us in the neighborhood anymore.
Our server was awesome! She checked on us often made sure we always had drinks and didn’t need anything! She is the best waitress we’ve had at Applebee’s!
Sad how it has gone downhill. If the absolutely filthy condition of its bathrooms are an indication of its kitchen, go elsewhere. The order on our food came to us wrong. The food was OK, but definitely not worthy of going back
Applebee's in Waterloo was not good at all, my husband and I ordered baby back ribs they were tough and the chips and artichokes dip was bland, my husband had pasta with chicken which tasted bland also. They need new cooks
Food was good but service was horrible. 30 minutes for a table. Then 15 for drinks. Food didn't come out for an hour. Took it to go.
Traveling thru town stop in for dinner. The wings were great. Steak and potato was cold. Manager told a staff member to get back to his station or get the hell out of here. I heard him use in appropriate language a few times toward staff. Glad I won’t be back here.
My wife's food was hard as a rock and half cold when it came our, my 8 oz steak was the size of the outback steak (thought I was at the outback steakhouse). Too small of a steak for the price we paid.
