I had breakfast burrito. Whoa. We're talking food. No shortage of it. Took some home. Will do it again.
When we were there it seemed like only 1 person was working, understaffed. She was wonderful and was working very hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. Will definitely return.Side note she was making calls and by the time we left she had gotten more people to come in. We felt so bad for her I was happy to see that she wouldn't be alone all day.
Excellent service! We were sat right away and our order came out quickly. Margaritas are amazing and the atmosphere is great for all ages. The food was delicious!! We will definitely be coming back!! Thank you!
The food was good but the service was terrible. First they gave my friend's daughter the wrong drink and didn't give me mine. Then they didn't bring her food. Nobody ever asked if we wanted a refill or asked about the food. Food was good but there's so many other restaurants that are just as good so I won't be back.
I was a frequent customer but never again will I step foot in amigos Waterloo. Tonight while eating my 4 year old niece accidentally bumped our PLASTIC margarita glass on the floor & it broke. Never once did the “owner” come & ask us to pay for it. But we got our bill & there was a $9.00 gift certificate charge. NINE DOLLARS is what he wanted to charge the customer for the plastic cup!! He then continued to argue with my sister in front of the whole restaurant. Our sweet server offered to pay for it but we refused to let her. We then wanted to make sure she got our tip & gave it directly to her. And said sorry we will never be back. And he then proceeded to come up to us & say “I took it off your bill why bring her back into it.” My sister said we just wanted to let her know she did a great job & get her tip. He THEN wanted to continue to argue about paying for your accidents!!! The owner made a 4 YEAR OLD CRY! I would give them 0 stars but I can’t. Also, he failed his health inspection. BEWARE!
My daughter and I have been going there for lunch every now and then. Love the place the prices are fantastic great lunch specials. Theres a waitress there named Olivia that surprised us one day by remembering what we wanted. The customer service is excellent speedy service..chips and salsa good...I get the chicken chimi....very good the cheese sauce that covers it..yum....
Bummed the street tacos seem so much smaller now, but still delicious! Always friendly staff. Can't wait for warmer weather to enjoy the patio.
Very nice and friendly environment! I was seated right away, food came fairly quick. Delicious.. The margaritas are the best I’ve had!! I am satisfied with everything at Amigos.. definitely recommend, will be coming back!
We go there often usually it's the only place open by the time we go out to eat but we love it it's awesome place awesome food great service
We were greeted and seated promptly and that was the only good thing from this dining experience. Ordered right away and sat for an hour and still no food. Had to be somewhere and so requested for food to go. Waited another 15 minutes for food to go. Restaurant owners seemed to be feeding their large family at 5:00, prime time. Family members were roaming around the restaurant. When able to eat our food at home, we were missing a meal. We got 4 steak tacos, flautas, burrito, side of rice, and 4 sodas for $64.00. Food tasted like dirty grease and steak tacos looked like rabbit pellets. Also, when you take a trip to the bathroom you get to walk by a garbage pail of chips that are passed out to the people. Great for the current COVID pandemic. This place is dirty and I'm unsure how it passes osha's standards. I will not be returning and hope others save their money and good health after reading this review.
