We were driving through Souix City on our way to Minnesota. Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve been to. The food was superior and the atmosphere perfect. The young male waiters were all so knowledgeable, polite and professional! The homemade lemon desert had to be the best dessert We’ve ever had! Thank you Sam for a fabulous dinner we will be back on our next trip through town and to Orggies if we happen to go to Chicago. Thank you all for a great dinner.
From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was inviting. Family members greeted us and everyone friendly. The food was wonderfull, full of flavor. Not a chain restaurant, these people take pride in what they serve. Look forward to returning.We loved it! Thank you.
The service very poor. One waiter and one bus boy for the whole place, I believe is overwhelming.On the other hand the person that supposed to be waiter took at least 7 -10 minutes to come to the table for the first time.Lack of knowledge on the wine, on the food. I think he needs to be trained properly before go to serve tables.I ordered grilled calamari it was fine but when I ordered an addition of calamari they didn’t grilled it they deep fried instead.I ordered a Sea Scallops in an Orange and shrimp sauce the same person told me they come 5 pieces of scallops I end up getting only 4 . There were more shrimps than scallops and the sauce was running (no thickness at all), and orange in color but completely flavorless. Except for some acidity but DID NOT TASTE like orange.I forgot to mention, I ordered a bottle of J Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon, I was expecting to get the bottle opened at the table no no no , He opened in the back and brought it to me like that.The place is nice , the location too, even the atmosphere I think is nice, prices are cheap for the way things are going on right now. And the more important thing there is a lot of room to improve. Most of your menu can be change for higher prices and in the same time train the crew you have now or bring a real professional ones. A cashier that could be a host or hostess would be helpful too. ThanksI am traveling right now but in my next visit to this area I will look for your place and see how things are going.I wish you success and I think the feedback I am giving you from my point of view is helpful if you take it accordingly from the customer point of view. The flavor profile of the meal was very good. The staff were very bust, but did a great job. It was about a 30 min wait for a table on a Saturday night.We attempted to make a reservation, but we're unable to.Overall, great experience, great atmosphere, great food.
Food was good, they are not the best when it comes to service at busy time’s. Other wise it was a good experience!
I’ve never been to this place and I’ll never goWhy you Americans insist with this “italian recipes” that you won’t never found in an Italian cuisine?????We never and ever eat or cook spaghetti meatballs, fettuccine Alfredo (NO FETTUCCINI!!!) with spinach mushrooms cream,We don’t even know what is it spaghetti with chicken and meat lasagnaI don’t want judge your culinary skills, is far from my mind to offend your culture, what I find so sad is this “imitation game” of Italian plattersId like to invite you to visit Italy and discovery the real Italian cuisinePerhaps you you may remain deluded or you may love it, that’s really doesn’t matter but at least you will have the real idea of our culinary cultureThank you for reading this and I’m very sorry for my bad English
Definitely one of the few gems in Sioux City. If you like Italian this is your spot, if you like fine dining this is your spot, if you just want good food, service and a great atmosphere, this is your spot...and a tip to my single guys, this will get you big points...trust me!
