Very good food for the best prices.
Always amazing. Great nachos and chimichanga
I've tried a lot of Mexican places in Siouxland and this one wins the gold medal. Everything that comes out of their kitchen tastes homemade. I usually go for a steak burrito but if you're feeling adventurous the menu is extensive; tonight I tried the cow tongue! You've got to ask for their green salsa, it's quite spicy yet smooth almost like it has an avocado base. Yes they are cash only but I believe that is how they keep their prices so reasonable. Best in town all around.
So, I’m not trying to scare anyone because to be fair I’ve eaten here on and off for years and it’s been FINE. But on my most recent visit I got a beef burrito, and it was big so I ate half and saved half for the next day. Well the first half was fine but the next day when I ate the second half I immediately had stomach pain and ended up throwing up shortly after. Now after relieving myself I felt fine but I think the reason was the meat was pretty greasy. For health reasons I’ve been only eating home cooked lean meats recently so perhaps my stomach just wasn’t used to something a little greasier. I don’t think it was food poisoning or anything, and I don’t want to make this restaurant look bad because AGAIN I’ve eaten here many times over the years.. but just a warning to anyone who maybe can’t handle greasy food?
I loved this place until I went there one night when I had a younger family member with me, we were both in a hurry. I waited for my order (in the drive through window, then the parking lot, then inside the restaurant) for 35 minutes. They have a young male 14-15 year old working the front all the time by himself. 2 cooks in the back. They said they were “short staffed” to go along with what is going on along with the trying times. No. They do this before all that because I was going here before, they do it to maximize the cash. Also it’s cash only. I’m getting tired of every certain kind of restaurant doing this to avoid paying taxes, employees…

I came here with my boyfriend right before they closed, they gave us dry food and looked like it was old, tortilla was cold and dry, it’s the next day and we still can’t stop throwing up, we definitely got food poisoning. Don’t come here.
Best steak burrito if you use the white queso and red hot sauce.!!!
fresh and delicious food
The burrito was great. The rice and beans weren't very warm, and the tamales were ok but far from the best I've had
