Rolls were bland, we got 4 different types of rolls. The sauces were good. We sat ourselves as directed by staff. They helped two other couples that came in after us before acknowledging us.
Food used to be better. Everything is cooked in mounds of butter. gave me food poisoning. Also I think this place should ditch the carpet especially because the chefs like to throw food at guests and miss half the time.
I have been to this place only twice and both times we had bad service. Today we decided to have sushi (I lived in SoCal for 17 years and have had some of the best and worst sushi there is. There are a lot of sushi placed in the LA area, so I know sushi.) Anyways I digress, we walked in at 12:05 I know because I looked at my watch. We were greeted by the hostess, and told to take a table so we did. There were only 2 other tables being occupied by patrons, and one being occupied by who I assume was a worker. We sat there while the other tables were waited on, twice, got their checks, and such. We still had no even been said Hi to by an waitress. Then at 12:15 another couple walked in and was IMMEDIATELY waited on, while we still were sitting there for 10 minutes. So needless to say because of 2 bad experiences I doubt we will be going back. Oh side note I am used to paying $50 or more for good sushi.
First time there, food was delicious and First time trying sushi.
I was there last night Wednesday, the waitress is really nice good customer service, the cook is have good since of humor entertained everyday but the food is sucks, salty and the rice is not cook still crunchy I told to the cooker while still grilling the rest of the food the only he said ohh! All of the people in the table didn't eat the rice is uncooked.
I usually love Ichiban and I come here frequently, however the last two times I have gone the service has been extremely slow. It took over an hour just to get out soup and salad. Our sushi came out after our meals, and we ordered them as an appetizer so that was unenjoyable. The food was already getting cold when we received it (we sat at a booth) and that was also not great. I have no intentions on going back for a while because this was disappointing.
After being seated the service was timely. It was a fun experience to have them cook right in front of us. The chef was very friendly and interactive. Food was good.
Great service and servers, lovely decorations, though I am not one on sea food at all but they do got something for everyone, great place to go with anyone
We stopped in for sushi at lunch time. The servers are great, the restaurant seemed clean and tidy. The rolls weren't the best I've ever had, but for the price they were fair. Everything seemed fresh and was well plated.
Decent. Still NO menu's. Service was OK. Didn't receive what we ordered together. Once the last dish came, it was Luke warm. The sushi was average. Not much flavor, wasn't told what each one was. Iam hoping they were having an off night, but probably won't be back for a while.
