This is me and my husband’s first choice for a quality restaurant when eating out. The food and service has always been amazing! I haven’t found friendlier waitresses and prompter service anywhere else! To me, they’re a five star restaurant! 😊
We ordered through door dash (which door dash did their delivery perfect) and received our order incorrect. We called the restaurant immediately and was informed they would replace it this week if I came and got it. Called to inform them I would be coming and they said they weren’t going to replace.
The wife and I had not been here in a while we decided to try it again the food has gotten better. Apparently the new waitresses nowadays don't have very much experience this is a third restaurant we've been to where they do not come back and ask you if you need more water or how the food is other than that it's not a bad place for breakfast. And when you don't come back and ask me these things it reflects on the tip I like to tip good when the waitress is good
Janie was a fast, friendly and fantastic server. The food was excellent. Hand breaded chicken fried chicken was absolutely delicious and the gyro was also very good. The food came out super fast. The atmosphere was cozy and had a small town vibe. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend!!
The food here is beyond good. I loved going here, even though I have not been to this establishment for over 2 years, I know it hasn't changed. The wings, breakfast, and pies are ever so delicious. The cookies at the front are to die for. I highly recommend going in with your family.
Terrible service. Asked for rootbeer for drink twice, was told it was empty. No one changed it to refill it. Waitress was to busy worrying about kicking one of cooks butt. Food was so so. Ordered all you can eat fish, with reorder for third piece was told we are out of fish. WOW! Seems like when owner not around the help isn't responsible enough to take care of business
I was greeted and seated immediately. I selected the two tavern (aka loosemeat) sandwich combo. The food was very good and filled both buns. Some make the tavern crumbled ground beef with tomato sauce (think Manwich or sloppy Joe style) which I prefer. Others including Horizon do not so I used ketchup. My server was excellent; checking several times if I needed refills or napkins and bringing a good cheesecake for dessert. There are few good independent family restaurants around in a world of Denny's and the Midwestern Perkins chain but Horizon Restaurant holds its own in this competitive segment.
they now ad tipping to your bill . food wasn't hot . was ice cold . hot roast beef . and other items . waitter never checked on us . why check on you when tip is including in your bill ?
This place is always yummy. From their amazing breakfast items and comforting dinner items, this is the place to eat!!!!
Oof, veggie omelet consists of American singles style cheese and mostly olives, mystery charge added to my orderSo paid 32 dollars for an omelet that my body is currently rejecting and cauliflower.Not my kind of restaurant, but someone might like it
