We had the most delicious breakfast here this morning. This place is busy, but they seat you quickly. We all had the Harvey’s Special. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the hash browns were so crispy, and your choice of toast and sausage, bacon, or ham. They give you huge portions and everything was so fresh and hot. The servers do an amazing job. It’s such a friendly place and very reasonably priced.
Great dive place when you want some good home-cooked food or need a little grease in your tank.
The food was super good and our server was so busy but keep coming back to our table to check in. With food and a nice tip the meal for 3 people was still under 40 bucks.

Delicious! Creamy pea salad on the salad bar. I haven't had that for a really long time. My grandmother used to make it. The liver was cooked properly and moist, not dried out. The onions were a mix of glazed and crispy. The only bad thing was the iced tea glass was small; maybe kid sized? Service was great and the new owner came around introducing himself and talking to customers.
We love going to Harvey's, especially for breakfast. Good food, good prices, and they keep your drink of choice filled!
One of the Midwest's best kept secrets!The food is excellent and worth the wait! Even with it being packed this morning, did not have to wait very long to be seated and served! The staff here is friendly and helpful, (Leslie on Saturday and Cheryl today went out of their way to make our dining experience on both days enjoyable). The price for the meals on both days very reasonable and budget friendly.Will definitely dine here again in the future!
Reminds me of the nostalgic Small Town Diner that you don't find just anywhere. Great breakfast and one of the only places around that still has a salad bar.
Real good hole in the wall kinda place. Didn't look like much, the building is very dated and a bit cramped. Food was amazing, got their version of Hawaiian pizza managed to feed the family. Only complaints were the atmosphere being very dark and cramped and no clear directions on where to go to order, the loud speaker announcing orders the whole time was a bit bothersome. Still great pizza.
