Sub was good but they were out of miss Vicky’s BBQ chips so I got macaroni and cheese. Not worth the $4.99. Will skip it the next time. Had to ask the guy to put a fork in the bag.
They never answer the phone anymore to place an order. And when they did its always with an attitude. And quickly to hang up.

Ordered a large sandwich, drive home and realize I only have a medium. Call in to ask about it, was told I only paid for a medium. Person on phone was not apologetic at all, instead was very uncaring- "you only paid for a medium". Well, I asked for a large, apparently you don't want my money and just don't care when people call in with concerns.I won't be coming back.
I'm from out of state so I stopped as I don't have a Fire House Subs restaurant near where I live. I enjoyed the sandwich but the rest of my experience was just okay. The girl with blue hair and facial pricings that took my order didn't great me, no eye contact, no smile, talked super fast so I couldn't understand and had to ask her to repeat what she said. I sat down to eat and she stood behind the counter complaining about the lunch rush and some other things about her day. There were 2 other employees, I'm guessing managers because one mentioned how much the sales were for their lunch rush which is inappropriate to discus in the FOH in front of customers. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon but the dinning area was clearly still dirty from the lunch rush. I'm leaving this review because I am a RGM and if this was my restaurant and the first impression my customers had I would be really disappointed and embarrassed.
Firehouse sub is the best sub sandwich shop there is. All the sandwiches I have tried or great, but my favorite is the Engineers. What I really like about the fire house sub is they offer you a warm sandwich. Other places have sandwiches but they’re served cold. This store in Sioux City is clean and well staffed.
Came in 25 minutes before closing and felt like I was really asking a lot to make 2 subs. The attitude was terrible. Sorry, but if you're open till 9 PM, then you better be ready to serve your customers till 9 PM.
We were in there this afternoon & were incredibly impressed at how the girls working were handling a rush. They greeted us, treated us with respect while ordering, answered all our questions AND had our food out in a reasonable time.What impressed us even more is how, especially one employee, was handling a group of disgruntled, angry customers. Their complaints were trivial, but were being incredibly rude towards the staff. I never heard the staff raise their voice back, but rather offer different solutions to remedy the situation. It took great discipline and restraint on their part. As someone who has been a manager for years in the hospitality industry, much kudos to your team!
Come in today Sunday the 5th talk to the manager talked about what to get I Decided on the hook and ladder sandwich told the cashier I wanted the hook and ladder lol get back home I got the brisket sandwich someone doesn't understand how to put the correct order in order was for red. Won't be back for a while not happy here sandwich went in the garbage
