I had called and ordered 2 pizzas for carry out and they told me it would be ready in 50-55 minutes. I waited almost an hour and went to pick up. When I got there they said they only had an order for one pizza. They said I could wait 20 minutes for the other one but I said no. So I left with just one. Pizza was not worth the wait at all. Definitely not going there ever again.

Drove up from Kansas City Mo to take a friend to try them on MON. IT doesn't show they are CLOSED on Mondays, so we drove all thr way up to find them closed!!Obviously I love the pizza or wouldn't be driving up that far. But man, what a Huge disappointment to find them Closed.PLEASE UPDATE YOUR HOURS ACROSS YOUR WEBSITE

I really miss the old owner John. Ever since the new owner's took over, this place has gone down hill. Puzza is always a hit or miss. They charge you for extra toppings and you get is a skimpy pizza. Giving it another try. I tried calling and calling to place an order, no answer. Website and recording says open. Apparently they are closed on Monday's. Should probably update information.

First time ive ever ordered a pizza there, walked in very clean, smelled delicious quick, friendly staff took my order, little over 20 minutes, was haded a delicious, hot pizza. Extraordinary sauce, i will definately suggest everybody get a pizzabfrom a long time local establishment. Thank you very much El fredos. You know your stuff!

Very disappointed. We have been eating pizza from here for over 40 years. Ever sense the new ownership took over. Toppings have been skimpy, the crust is not the same, quality has fallen so much. The last year or two we normally only will get it from the east side location where they still do it correctly. We really wish the east side location was open Sundays. Very sad to see this. Unfortunately we will not be coming back unless we hear they have returned to making pizza like they did prior to the new ownership.Randall L.Sioux City, IA

I moved away from Sioux City over 30 years ago after graduating from Briar Cliff (College at that time). Two places I miss to this day are #1 - El Fredo Pizza, and #2 - Miles Inn Tavern. The El Fredo pizza sauce is the best I've had, and I travel frequently. IMO, it soundly beats Uno Pizzeria and Gino's East in Chicago. I miss it dearly. Thanks for the memories.

I gave this place a try for the first time after wanting some pizza and noticing that this place had very high reviews and boy, were the good reviews correct. El Fredo’s large cheese pizza was amazing. It was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! The sauce was delicious and the pizza was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be coming back for more pizza in the future.

First time ordering here and it will my last time. Ordered the Works pizza. Pizza was completely soaked in grease. It even leaked though the box, onto the table! Could not even hold a piece to eat it. Felt disgusting just trying to hold a slice.

Usually very good. On this occasion the pizza was very undercooked. Cheese not even melted in some places. I grab and go, I don't live close to Sioux to get a new pizza so I was out of luck. I would still recommend, just verify the pie is actually cooked.

El Fredo Pizza provided us with top notch service. We were greeted by Reece, who was very helpful in helping us pick our delicious pizzas. We definitely recommend the RK Special. The crust, the sauce, the toppings… we’re all fantastic! We received a complimentary appetizer of nacho cheese flavored fried ravioli with their signature blue cheese—-it was excellent! Even more enjoyable was the staff. They were so friendly and in just one visit to El Fredos, they already feel like family. We will be recommending this restaurant to all of our friends and will make a point to come back very soon!
