This is one of my favorite places to eat in Iowa City. The food is locally sourced and the atmosphere is lovely, especially if you sit outside right when twilight is approaching.I've never had a bad meal here. The dishes are interesting and creative, like the blueberry donut bread pudding I uploaded a picture of. Since they used locally sourced items, your are not going to find the widest selection of options (generally around 6 entrees), but there is something for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians.

Didn't have a chance to get the full plate shot, but this should be enough to make you hungry! Was there for a friends wedding, the meat was so tender it literally fell apart. I'd give the meal a 10, it was delicious!

I’ve been to Wilson’s Ciderhouse a handful of times for dinner, and have always been impressed with the ambiance and quality of food. Yesterday, I went for brunch and can say it’s hands down the best brunch I’ve had in the Iowa City area. The portions are perfect and every single thing we ordered was bursting with flavor. The four of us ordered the savory breakfast turnovers, biscuits and gravy, grilled herb chicken thigh sandwich, the orchard breakfast, and apple cider donuts. Let’s just say… there weren’t any leftovers! I highly, highly recommend making your way out to Wilson’s Ciderhouse for brunch. Make sure you stop at their adorable market shop after too!

Generous 4 stars here. Great food and cider, but the prices for the food are crazy for what you get. Service was slow to start, but it was a beautiful day and we were with friends so didn't really mind (was not busy at all when we went). We may be back just for drinks but not the insanely marked up food.

I'm going to be generous and give this a 5, if there was a 4.5 that's what I would choose instead. Let's start with the good. The food is great here. I had the quail and etouffe on two different visits. Both were excellent. I also tried my girlfriend's dish, a pork shoulder with apples, which was good as well. We also had appetizers and dessert and everything was good, I can't remember precisely which other than the apple turnovers. Next, the snowbird is a fantastic cocktail but the other cocktails I tried were not very good. My girlfriend's flight of their limited release ciders was just OK. The other flight of their basic ciders is stronger imo but you can get them in cans at any grocery store around here. Lastly, the atmosphere here is fantastic. It'd be a very nice wedding venue, basically looks like a converted barn with a large open seating area. Service was good enough.

What a wonderful place! My husband and I wanted to try a new place. So we decided on Wilson's. The service was great. Rachel our server took such good care of us. My husband ordered the burger. I had the evening special - the lobster roll. We shared a flight of cider and an order of fries. Everything was so good. The fries came out fresh and hot. Loved the flight. It gave us a chance to try more then one cider. Yes we will be going back.

The food was outstanding! I got the lamb meatballs, which came over an incredible pasta. I can't wait to go back and try something new! The waitresses were all very friendly too.

I had an amazingly delicious sea bass entree. Matt Steigerwald is a world class chef. The repurposed barn is a wonderful setting. Foodies and wannabe foodies in eastern Iowa you have to experience this place!

Beautiful location and facility. Try the Wilson's Goldfinch Cider. I think you will like it.

Great setting with a very cozy interior. Food and ciders were delicious, and the staff was very kind and the service friendly and quick.
