We went for lunch on a Friday at noon. It was busy, but we were greeted by multiple servers and promptly seated. The eggs Benedict and California Omelet were delicious. Tony was our server and was attentive and friendly. Look forward to going back!
Great place to grab breakfast. Very friendly staff too!
I had the pleasure of eating here with my family on our way out of town and I was quite impressed. It was a Sunday morning and they were understandably busy but quite accommodating as we were a group of eight. Since it was a nice day, we were able to eat at one of the picnic tables outside, which probably helped. That said, the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The sausage was delicious and the hash browns were crispy and delicious. I definitely recommend the homemade sourdough bread for the toast option and the house made strawberry jam was delicious too. Overall, such a lovely place worth seeking out located in a very cool area of Iowa City.
Went around 11 on a weekday and it was busy but didn't have to wait for a table. The french toast was incredible and they have a great selection of unique cocktails. Really glad we chose this spot for brunch during our short stay in IC and look forward to returning!
Was absolutely fantastic. Real butter and real maple syrup on the pancakes. House made sourdough, and delicious sausage. Will be stopping every time we come through Iowa city. So delicious.
If I hadn’t inhaled my food the second it was placed in front of me I would have taken more pictures! We just moved back to IC and our friend suggested we go here for brunch. We went on a Sunday at 11am and ended up waiting an hour, which was the be expected for the time we went. The wait was absolutely worth it though. Shared a gigantic orange cinnamon roll with our table that was fantastic and I ordered the biscuits and gravy with both sausage and tomato gravy and it was hands down the best biscuits and gravy I have had. Their coffee drinks are amazing too. Staff is super friendly and chill as well. I can’t wait to go back to try more things off their menu!
Waited 35 minutes to get our breakfast, order wasn't turned in. Then got the bill and was charged a credit card fee but paid with cash?Sausage wasn't very good.Probably won't do this again.
Small place in Iowa City. I ordered Diet Pepsi, "just out". I ordered the steak salad, "just out". Changed the steak to salmon and dropped the price. Service was great. It was full but they seated at the fully stocked bar. Seemed fully staffed in spite of labor issues everywhere. My salad was great. My daughter goes here often and says its her favorite place. Even without the things I requested, it was a 5/5.
Horrible customer service. The manager/owner is rude, he has a weird attitude and apparently thinks his food deserves a Michelin star and it's impossible that someone wouldn't like it. I dealt with a waitress that acted so weird after we sent a sandwich back (and offered to pay for it) and requested another, then she kept asking lots of unnecessary questions interrupting our talk. Overall, the whole experience was very awkward and uncomfortable. Food is fine but not worth the bad dining experience.
Great food. Great service. Quaint atmosphere. Limited seating. Waited about 15 minutes but they texted us when ready and well worth the wait. Get the cinnamon roll!
