it says "closes at 2 am" but they ALWAYS close early. expect them to be closed by 12-30/1 am. my small town has nothing open so i relied on this place for so long, but they always let you down. disappointing. edit: 1 star wish i could go down to 0. they were gonna close at 12:30! cash only. if you hate your job that much, just f**king quit already. this is the worst fast food restaurant in iowa city. horrible.
I've been in an out of this taco bell for the last 5 years. Last night was fabulously well done to my suprise despite the time. Perfect chalupa, oil wasn't tarnishing the task of my crispy cantina chicken tacos. But one notable exception: cheese sauce. It was more similar to jelly then sauce, and faulty nacho cheese can be one of those dangerous things. Seems to be an across the board issue tho with Tbell. So can't fault these guys.
I'm hungry and from out of town. This location is open and it says dine in also. Yet doors are locked and no one is answering the phone. Very disappointed and shouldn't expect good service or food from here. Very rude
The last two times I tried to get food at this Taco Bell they claimed their credit card machine was down and could only accept cash, which I didn’t have on me so they lost both sales. Today I tried to order at the drive thru and they told me they weren’t taking any in person orders because they were so behind on Grub Hub. They turned away my business three times in a row, I won’t be going back again!
Not the best Taco Bell. Always closes before 2:00 AM even though that’s when they are suppose to be open till. I think they should change their closing time since their employees seem to close 30 minutes early 24/7. Really irritating.
Absolute worst taco bell. We ordered at 10 pm, knowing they are open and they immediately canceled the order on Uber Eats. Never experienced unprofessional employees. So rude.
PLEASE DON'T COME HERE. They don't want your money. Taco Bell needs to raise their wages because it's obvious these employees aren't paid enough to care even a little bit. Half the time when I come here, I don't even seem to make it out with food. After they take your order, they'll tell you they're only taking cash only for some inane reason. This has happened to me three times now.Today, they told me they weren't accepting orders "for a minute". When I asked if that actually meant a minute, the woman responded "did you hear me sir?" in a way that implied I should leave. So I did. And I'm not coming back.When and if you do get your food, you wish you hadn't. Sure, Taco Bell is fast food, so you shouldn't expect much, I suppose, but this location is special. It's by far the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to in this big country. It is consistently that bad. There's a nice little family run taqueria right down the street called El Paso that you should go to instead.Let this corporate business that obviously doesn't pay a living wage fail like it deserves.
The Employees that work here are awful. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Order got messed up multiple times, employees argued with us and got snarky about their mess up after waiting over 20 minutes to get the order fixed while they continued to serve numerous other people. Then left the bag on the counter of the fixed food (still missing an item) and when asked if it was our food after it sat there for 10 minutes they said “I don’t know is it?” In a mocking manner. Wish I could rate 0 stars.
Employees are unprofessional. One time the guy almost forgot to take my payment and gave me my food. It's a good thing I'm honest and asked him if he'd like me to pay for my order before taking off lol.
Sorry Taco Bell you loose stars with me since you ruined, and then completely removed the Mexican pizza from the menu. One Mexican Pizza please! Hamburger, Refried beans, sauce, black olives, green onions, tomato's, and cheese, and REAL Sour Cream. Bring it back, that's an ORDER.
