-1 for slow service and food-1 for lack of hospitality. I was ignored by one bartender and helped by another with no enthusiasm. Sorry I came in and thought someone would be available to work a little bit instead of just chatting with friends.
Food was slow. Took an hour for a con salad and nvr got the chicken I asked for
Person I've been there is good enough experience I wanted to invite friends, friendly, great staff, pull room, generally fairly spacious, fairly new, a wide range of food and drink options make a good first impression on me
Ordered twice now asking for impossible burger in substitute of beef (I cannot eat beef) and have not gotten the order correct either time. Means I paid 16.00 for something I cannot eat. Additionally, there was a glove left in our bag that looked used and dirty. Those who could eat their order said the food was not very good.
The staff always ignored me for a good 5-10 minutes but at midnight night of 12/14 or morning of 12/15 finally had such friendly workers! Two males greeted me at the door and helped me get my take out order immediately!
Love the staff! Super friendly and funny! The food is also super yummy! 10/10 recommend!
Had a great time on Fathers Day! Bar has great daily specials and is still new enough as to not be over crowded. The Korean Barbeque brisket waffle fries are top notch, dont be afriad to turn it into a sandwich.

Probably the best value in downtown Iowa City. Food is good (I mean the $4 burger deal is "great" if you take the price into account). Pretty much what you'd expect with descent "bar" food, cheap drinks and sports on the many TVs. Staff was a little wet behind the ears but after the pandemic I can give them a little slack. Overall worth adding to my once or twice a month rotation of places to grab a bite to eat and a beer.
Went late night. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Wings weren’t the best. Precooked and refried to order. I know because I spent ten years in dining services. Definitely the spot for late night eats when nothing else is open.
