Fantastic food, great service, classic Irish Pub atmosphere. My daughter says it's the best French Onion Soup in Iowa City; the Rueben is to die for, just perfect. Looking forward to returning!

Love this place. Includes a few nice overseas traditional items along side a menu full well made typical American fare.

Ordered the Blackened Salmon Wrap with sweet potato fries and chicken tenders - both were really good and worth the wait!

Our two families were traveling together and had a craving for fried pickles. I happened to find Micky's menu online and we all liked the variety and hoped that they wouldn't be out of fried pickles (which is what had happened the evening before). We were not disappointed! The fried pickles were probably the best we have ever eaten. They were spears and not chips, and they exploded with flavor. They were the perfect blend of pickles and batter. The rest of our food was equally good. Several appetizers, salads and Beyond Burgers. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly (Natalie, I think) and the outdoor seating area was comfortable and not too noisy. Great find in a very cool area of town.

Day 1 in Iowa city, was hungry and decided to visit Mickey's. Around 1 PM and it was rush hour as there was only one table left. Having said that the service was on the spot. Waited for maximum of 10 minute before my order was taken by Pea and she was extremely curteous, provided all the answers to the questions asked and ensured to check once in a while. Amazing customer service given by Pea. Abput the taste, had ordered chicken Philly with salads as side and it was delicious, mouth watering and tummy filling. Will visit again for sure.

Best damn jambalaya north of the Mason Dixon line.. like seriously I haven't eaten jambalaya this good since being in New Orleans. Husband had Nashville Chicken Sandwich and it was very tasty also! But seriously this jambalaya!! Also the pretzel bites and beer cheese is a must get... Really good beer cheese!! But that jambalaya, yo!

I totally loved the (vegan) Pretzel Burger and the fact that any burger could be ordered with a vegan patty is great. The waiter was nice and the service very good. I'd absolutely recommend this place! ❤️

Recently went there while picking our son up for Christmas break. Had the most lovely bartender, with the most adorable gold glasses! She was stylish and friendly. Will 100% be back!

Brianna was an awsom waitress we loved her !

Great atmosphere and seating. Prices are worth it for the high quality food! I had the Steve Winwood, requested toasted, and substituted fries for the Chicken Tortilla Soup (adds $2). I highly recommend this combo! You will not leave hungry, but rather satisfied!
